Re: How to buy the LFE Scooter C60?

I've had a post on 'want to buy' for the FLE Scooter and have had no contact. Opportunities to buy are as rare as hens teeth. So good luck - failing that there are some other fab C60s available.

AFC Wimbledon live to fight another day

Just thought I'd record my thoughts of absolute relief at AFC Wimbledon's final day survival in League 2! Genuine thoughts to Barnet and Aldershot today. Wimbledon took it to the last today and I'm not sure deserved to survive but did. Contentious but I think the more fans' clubs in circulation the ...

All's well! I've just driven between J28 and J8 of the M25 without a single hold up or traffic jam. Must go buy a lottery ticket whilst my luck's in 8)

Re: a few questions about the C10 Aviator MK I

Like Welshlad i have 6.75 inch wrists. I've kept my C10 and find it, personally, a good size - no discomfort from the crown either. The strap was on the second to last hole.

I hope that helps

Re: Wedding Watch

Clearly you are all a bunch of men. The obvious first question here is what will you be wearing? Black tux? Blue suit? Khakis rolled up at the ankle so the sand and rising tide on the beach doesn't muss them while you say your vows at dawn? I need a more details! I quite resent that sweeping stereo...

Re: Wedding Watch

It's a slippery slope I'm afraid! It all starts with an innocent enquiry about a watch then, egged on by the CW loving forum, other watches come in to your attention. Soon the general interest turns in to a list of 'wants'. Not to fear though, the inevitable purchases can be funded by selling your s...

Re: How often do you see strangers wearing a CW?

I was at a works meal tonight and a colleague, who i'd met for the first time, commented on my C5. Turns out he's a wstch lover and a forum member for a number if years. I've still not seen another CW in the wild but it's good to have someone recognise my watch.

Re: The 'correct' way to wind an automatic?

Thanks all. It was a decent enough jewellers and the guy seemed quite knowledgeable so this all makes sense. Let's face it he'd have to be sure of himself as he demonstrated the winding action to me on a £3800 Omega!

The 'correct' way to wind an automatic?

During my visit to a jewellers this pm the assistant was very clear that winding of Omegas and other automatics should be done by winding half a turn clockwise and then half a turn backwards (anti clockwise) and then half a turn clockwise again. Essentially the half a turn to and fro action continue...

Re: New C60 orange bezel!

Happened to be passing the jewellers this afternoon and saw the orange bezel Omega. First time I've seen it in the flesh and so gave it a try. I liked the colouring much more than I'd expected and Mrs Milkman gave it the nod of approval too. I'm really heading towards the orange C60 as my preferred ...

Fantastic! I'd almost dismissed the orange bezel version but seeing you pictures has given me cause to rethink. It is, once again, a serious contender :-k
