Re: Misaligned hands

I have already seen too many pictures of CW quartz watches with seconds hands not hitting the markers so I am not even considering one of those. If it is easy to correct, why wouldn't they make all watches leave the factory hitting the markers just right? But as mentioned before in this thread, may...

Re: Shades of Green

Hi Leon, good to hear the watch arrived and you're happy with it. If I knew you were a member here, I could have sold it to you directly and saved on the eBay fees and sales tax. Oh well, not much we can do about it now and at least the fees weren't too bad. This is the same watch on the Piccari st...

Re: C3 Malvern chrono- mkiii

Mine has been working ok, but now I'll be more attentive. I have 3 CW quartz chronograph, and so far no problems with them

Re: Shades of Green

The the standard strap from CW didn't feel quite right, so I put this one on until I find the right rally strap.

Shades of Green

This C7 Rapide Chronograph arrived yesterday from a fantastic eBay seller. It was a tough 24 hour wait to open the package, SOP in our household. I appreciate how the shades change with different angles and lighting. It really pops in the sunlight. 20200425_152543.jpg 20200425_152616.jpg 20200425_15...

Re: Daily specials to beat the sales peaks!

Yesterday a C7 Rapide Chronograph in racing green popped up on eBay and my offer was accepted. Even after taxes, it was still less than if it was NN. I've been wanting one since I saw it in the January sale. Monday can't come soon enough. Mrs O told me I'm done, so now I don't have to worry about mi...

Re: Daily specials to beat the sales peaks!

I was ready all day for the 12:30 clicking race, but got tied up with work until 12:45 EDT. I didn't even try to look at the site. Rather than spend time on this lottery, I may just buy the Marloe I've been admiring. Maybe I'll have some luck and money left for the July sale...

Re: C7 Rapide Quartz

C7 Rapide Quartz (Black) that I got from the sale just arrived today! Strap is the Piccary Leather Red/Black on a 6.75” wrist. Fit is very good, despite it being 1mm longer lug-to-lug than my C65, it hugs the wrist well with no overhang. Looks Great!! If I had read more carefully, I would have seen...

Re: C7 Rapide Quartz

Looks great!! I ordered one as well on the sale , along with a red/black piccary strap but they haven't arrived yet. But I have some trepidation regarding it's size, as I have 6.75" wrists. What is your wrist size? I am also interested in the fit of the Picarry, because it would make a great combo ...

Welcome!! I'd take one in 40mm or 38mm, but we may have to settle for NN returns.

Re: Recommendations for Leather Quick Release Straps

Our own Footycrazy Straps now makes select versions available with quick release bars! Footycrazy (Graham) will also do full custom work as he's done on two of my straps from him. Worth the PM to him with your ideas! Here is AVO's mini review: https://www.christopherwardforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=53...

Re: Daily specials to beat the sales peaks!

I briefly had a 595 in my basket while, and then looked at the Bronze Trident instead. When I backed out even the C3 malverns were gone. I backed out of the C5 595 because it was to similar in presentation to both my current C3 Malvern and the Marloe Coniston that I would like to purchase

Recommendations for Leather Quick Release Straps

Can you recommend any quality leather QR straps. I've come across Barton, Richie Watchco and Gecko, but I'm not sure how they compare to CW OEM straps. I'm looking for the right combination of quality and price. Thanks
