New addition [emoji3]. Simplicity. Perfect. 36mm. Great proportion.

Thanks for this post as well as others like it. I joined this forum hoping to learn more along the lines of horolgy, but am learning so much more. The included link was a great help.

Re: Non CW of the Day

That's a variation on the Seamaster I hadn't seen before. Very nice. We know where to buy the Omega, but where did you ever find the shirt?

Depends on your trust in the people or company doing the work. Hard to earn back something lost. :(

Re: THIS is how it's done

After dreading it for so long, I'm still a little star struck whenever I think how smoothly that all went. Every time I began to even wonder about it....BANG, more progress, and soon it was back with me, and all done at a very reasonable price.

THIS is how it's done

I will try to make this a quick read, without too much elaboration, so here goes. Mid March-day wheel on my 3 year old quartz Citizen Sport becomes non functional. Does not advance at midnight or manually with the crown. Dreading sending it in for repairs for all the obvious reasons. As the watch is...

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

And I'm sure Katrina is probably just overwhelmed. It has to be hard. It isn't her fault. This is a management fault. Hopefully they don't let Katrina and Scott and the rest down.

Re: Change in 60 Month Warranty Policy?

Don't see why 3-4 years is so vague? Sometime after 3 and before 4 years, gives me 12 months to get the watch in for service. Rather nice window of opportunity. Hopefully it will be returned in time to be enjoyed before the next service is due. I am genuinely beginning to dread the thought. :problem:

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

This whole service thing SEEMS to be a numbers issue. Trying not to being over simplistic here but, 20,000 watches a year sold, 5 year warranty, 100,000 watches at risk, equals 1 completely overwhelmed staff. :ka:

This Glycine "The Chief" appears almost impossibly thin in the photos. Beautiful! Full on side view perhaps? Well, yes, it does wear pretty thin..I would say on a very even basis w/ Omega Speedys...in the below pic, it measures out in thickness at 12.2mm.. https://i.imgur.com/qenZYoc.jpg Thi...

Re: I think I'm in love with the looks of this Hamilton

Thinking that the pushers being a bit tall, and no crown guard give the whole thing a real "retro" feel. Exactly what they were going for. Very nice.
