Re: CWL of the day

I’ve had this one on the wrist pretty much constantly for the last week or so.

The strap has bedded in beautifully and is already starting to get a bit of patina developing on it. It’s turning into a great look :-)

Re: Brand new C60 Trident Mk3 40mm

It’s a great watch that is for sure. Perfect size, good looks and more than decent performance. CW has really upped their game and quality with some of their recent releases. Keep it up!
Enjoy!

A bronze sort of day...... IMG_20200319_130517.jpg
We don’t see enough bronze on here, IMHO. Beautiful material and I’m still looking to add one to my collection.
Great pic by the way.

Re: Is it just me mourning the demise of 43mm?

Personal opinion - I wish all models were available in 38mm sizes. What first drew me to the CW brand was their willingness to provide watches in the smaller size, despite the trend for larger sizes. I can wear most watch sizes (I do draw the line at anything over 42mm though) and would love to see ...

Re: Coronavirus

We are all still in the office here, but expecting to be asked to start working from home at some point next week - we have all been instructed to take our work laptops home this weekend, configure them with our home WiFi and send confirmation emails to our line managers. Shopping at Sainsbugs this ...

Re: Everyday Watch

Sandhurst and Dartmouth get most of my everyday wrist time (both on leather). For smarter looks I go for my C65 Trident Vintage MK2 on a bracelet or Trident C60 MK2

Re: Help w/strap selection

Black watch, brown strap? Not an issue in my books :-) The trick is to either hit a deep, chocolate brown, or a very light, creamy brown. Deeper tones blend in together and give a more subtle, understated look; lighter tones contrast and make both colours pop for a more casual look. The extremes of ...

Re: How often do spare parts come on the market.

I think CW also have a “like-for-like” fitting policy for their parts. A while back I asked if I could have a matte black ceramic bezel insert and stainless steel bezel ring fitted to a bronze C60. I also asked for the dial to be swapped for the matte black off the C60 Vintage diver. Although I was ...

A quick strap switch for a different look on the Dartmouth D51AEA7E-3981-4B19-9C7C-B457C175FE6D.jpeg Love the look of this strap on the watch - true vintage leather (from a Swiss Military ammo pouch from 1965) and all hand stitched. The darker colour of this particular version really suits this watc...

Re: Accuracy

I bought a C65 Trident Vintage MK2, pretty much when they first launched, and it has been a real gem. Smarter aesthetics than many of my other CW offerings (especially when worn on its black, Shell Cordovan strap) and has been regularly used for when I need something a bit more refined than my regul...

Many thanks.
It was also a pretty decent cup of coffee as well. It might have helped?
