Re: C65 GMT vs Automatic Bezel

Welcome! Don’t worry about the newbie question, we all have to start somewhere and, compared to some first posts we get here, yours is a very thoughtful contribution. I currently own the C65 Trident GMT with the steel bezel as well as both auto and manual versions of the C65 Trident Divers with alum...

Re: CWL of the day

I’m going back to my latest purchase for the day, but it’s going on a nice, leather NATO

Re: C65 Trident GMT now on the CW website

I’m itching to try this promised quick-release bracelet. I do like my watches on their bracelet, especially in summer and for more formal occasions, but I am a total strap junkie and regularly swap them onto leathers, NATOs and whatever else I have in my strap drawer almost on a daily basis. The bol...

Re: Re-Buy: Back On The Wrist...

Phew, I’m glad I’m not the only one with buy-back fever

Come to think of it, my C60 600 Vintage is, I think, my third one. I sold the first one, bought another but gave that one away, and now have the third one. Hopefully this one will stay longer ;-)

Re-Buy: Back On The Wrist...

Just before Christmas I bought my C65 Trident Diver (manual wind version, black dial). This was after yet another successful visit to CW Towers showroom and the persuasive charms of Declan and the team. Honest, it was all his fault. Unfortunately, another family member took a liking to it. He is rel...

Re: Open evening at CW tower

I made the journey from Bristol on Thursday and was very glad I made the effort. The staff were amazing, really friendly and made everyone feel welcome. I had one of my C60 Trident 300s regulated and it’s only gaining 0.3 seconds per month, which is amazingly accurate Managed to get some one-on-one...

Re: Open evening at CW tower

I was hoping to attend. I did get the email invite, but working hours and a drive of a good couple of hours (M25 at rush hour, no thank you very much!) did put the dampeners on my plans a bit. I think it was a great idea though. The showroom is a lovely place to relax and try the range of watches as...

Re: CWL of the day

Took delivery of a couple of new straps today. That means I’ll have to spend the next week or so breaking them in, what a hard life! First up is a ColaReb 22mm Venezia in brown; as close as I can get to the butterscotch colour this C65 GMT can be had on but is a strap length better suited to my wris...

Re: C65 Trident GMT - Pepsi

Thanks, @Mikkei4 and @nauf I can see yet another visit to CW Towers needing to be booked... What a hardship! I will have to bring the rest of my CW hoard down with me (black C65 Diver auto, original C65 GMT, C60 Pro Vintage) and see if I can justify another addition without too much overlap. Decisio...

Re: C65 Trident GMT - Pepsi

I’ve just spent a bit more time viewing and pausing the video and examining the gallery images in CW site. I’m getting more and more attracted to the blue dial version. I love the pop of orange on the GMT hand against the blue dial, getting more used to the black date background as it did not sit ri...

Re: C65 Trident GMT - Pepsi

I think it's really nice as is the explorer ii steel bezel version. Personally I think the case design wipes the floor with the standard trident and the reduced WR matters not a jot. I could honestly see me owning one of these. Explorer II Steel Bezel? Who makes this model please, sounds interestin...

Re: C65 Trident GMT - Pepsi

I quite like it. I think they have chosen the colours on the bezel well - a hint of orange in the red ties in well with the colour of the GMT hand as well as the blue. I think they both keep the weathered, retro look and really work well with the tan choice of leather strap. Nice that they have also...
