Re: Where's the blob? C65 Auto

Man, that looks good! I’m so tempted by the black version either in bracelet or the light tan leather they feature. But I’m trying to wait until the Trident MK3 comes out too. Expletive deleted!

Re: Custom/Modified/Hybrid C60 Trident?

Thanks, Andy.
I was not able to call CW today, but I have a work window tomorrow and hope to try then. The big issue will be as to if the steel bezel will fit into the bronze case I think. Fingers crossed...

This has been with me today. Hoping it will be with me for the next few days while I test it’s timekeeping.

Oh, stop it with the temptation! A beautiful watch, but too big for me alas!

Re: Urban Gentry Review of the C65 Trident GMT

I caught that review a while back. I do like the films he makes, I appreciate his knowledge, research and the fact he seems to say what he thinks be it good or bad. Thinking about it, that review was probably one of the things that finally tempted me to buying mine. Nice pic too by the way. That one...

C1 Morgan 3-Wheeler?

My collection is all steel cased watches. So far. I’m now thinking of adding something in PVD and love the vintage look of the “3-Wheeler” model. It’s size should be pretty much right for me, that little hit of red on the seconds hands and the fact that it has the in-house, COSC movement also draw m...

Re: C8 Concorde - Born from dreams

I’ve just had the “ping” in my inbox with the promotional email. I’m hoping to get to the Maidenhead showroom in a few weeks, so I’ll hope to check it out then.

Re: C8 M2.04 Limited Edition

I quite like the aesthetics, but what does it for me is it’s potential uniqueness. Only 50 pieces baking made, how likely will you be to see another one? That really appeals to me. Unfortunately, it’s size would be prohibitive for me to actually wear it. My sweet spot is 38-40mm, I can just about pu...

Re: WR Testing practices at CW.

I’ve done the usual bath/shower bot, as well as swimming pool and snorkelling with my C60 300 and never had an issue. I’m not a true diver, so I can’t vouch for how well it performs at real depths, but I’ve also never heard of anyone having a genuine failure at depth either. If you’re really keen to...

Re: Hoping it’s not indicative

No. Your experience is not indicative of CW’s general quality, at least not in my experience. It’s a shame that the movement in your watch failed. Saying that though, it is a mechanical piece, it has moving parts and these will, eventually fail. Sure, yours has gone west way sooner than usually expe...

Ok, that’s worth bearing in mind.
I will put that in the list of questions for CW when I call them next week,

Re: Custom/Modified/Hybrid C60 Trident?

Sorry, no. Not from me anyway.
My friendly watch maker does offer a twelve month warranty on all his work though, I would hope this would be sufficient?

On the other hand, how about a Forum Limited Edition? I’ve seen these launched in the past, with film CW backing? Anyone else up for it?

Re: Custom/Modified/Hybrid C60 Trident?

Morning, Thanks for the input for everyone. From the sounds of things I might have to put this idea in the back burner for a while. I will contact CW next week, just to check that parts can be swapped and to confirm if they will/won’t do it, but if it means buying two complete watches then that puts...

Custom/Modified/Hybrid C60 Trident?

Can anyone advise me as to how transferable parts are between models in the the C60 600 Trident family? I have a 600 Pro Vintage version in 38mm (new logo version). I utterly adore the vintage lume, the matte dial and matte finish on the ceramic bezel. However, the stainless steel case is just that,...
