Re: New C65 Trident Vintage Mk II

So, it seems like mine in on pre-order... My other half and I have our anniversary coming up and she has finally taken my horological hints! I was thinking of the original version so can’t wait to see how the Light-Catcher case works with this new design. I also like the look of the other changes/up...

Re: Time to Rotate

Pretty slick :-) I heard words of caution about leaving auto watches on a winder long-term. I have taken some advice and use mine on a timer plug so it runs on and off during the day (8:00am to 9:00pm) and then rests the watches over night. That replicates my usual watch wearing habits and seems to ...

Re: C65 divers or GMT owner experience

I have both. In fact, I have the GMT, and both versions of the Diver (auto and manual). I find that all three are exceptional watches, especially for the price I paid. The GMT I find wears more dressy than the other two, especially as I prefer to keep it on the bracelet, but both divers fill the “ca...

Re: CWL of the day

Ah, the joy of a quick release bracelet! I needed something a bit more casual for today so off with the bracelet and on with my new genuine Phoenix NATO (black/grey/red). I love the reds on the dial and strap complimenting each other. 68CFA1DA-0CE6-4996-A714-EDB61019DDD3.jpeg C The first nato I hav...

Re: C65 Quick Release Bracelet.

Can’t wait for both the new watch, and the quick release strap. My C65 GMT still gets a lot of wrist time and I am regularly trying to swap from bracelet to leather to NATO, but the bracelet is a bit of a pig to get back on. If the new bracelet is anything as good as the offering on my new Trident M...

Re: The Best Nato Strap Money Can Buy?

Evening everybody, I'm on a mission to find the very best quality Nato strap in the same colour as what Sean Connery used in Goldfinger to put on my C65 Automatic. Which companies produce the very best quality straps? Do you have any recommendations? I would be so grateful for any help and advice. ...

Re: Trident Comparison - M3 vs C65 vs C60?

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. To answer some specific questions... @Bident my M2 C60 Pro 38mm measures 0.12mm thinner than the M3. I dare not give specific measurements since my calliper jaws have Sellotape coverings to protect the watch when I measure them, but the difference between M...

Trident Comparison - M3 vs C65 vs C60?

This post is in response to @StrappedUp who was asking how my new Trident compared to existing C65 Trident watches. To be fair I thought it best to compare between these two and my 38mm C60 Pro Vintage. The following thoughts and comments are my own, personal opinion and observations; others may fee...

Trident C60 Pro M3 (40mm) Finally on a perfectly resized bracelet and feeling fantastic! 1E9583A2-22B8-4835-9655-B6BBD5C463B8.jpeg I think this angle really emphasises the depth of the hour markers on the dial. Blue tint on the crystal is the blue of the sky, not any anti-reflective coating etc. C ...

Re: What would you like to see next?

Love the “Explorer” described above, perhaps something to consider alongside the promised Field Watch range? Addition of a 3, 6, 9 and 12 would be the kipper’s knickers ;-) My own offering would the the following: 40mm Trident M3 case body and crown in bronze. Stainless steel case back Stainless ste...

Great to hear the positives, too many seem to focus on the negatives.
Hats off and kudos to all involved and enjoy your new watch,
