Re: CWL of the day

Another custom leather strap for the C65 GMT - beautifully soft and subtle “swamp” green/brown vintage leather:

Re: Looks like we're getting a white dial trident gmt

Love the C65 GMT.
Love the Explorer II with its white dial.
Just blown my watch fund on a pre-order for a Sandhurst Series 1

PS - I hope the GMT white dial has black edging on the hands. It will be a sod to tell the time without that extra definition!

Re: COSC Regulation of a Movement?

Thanks for the detailed and informative responses, everyone. Ok, so my reasons for doing this? Just “because” and “can I” really. I greatly respect the time, skill and effort getting a movement regulated to COSC and I would love the feeling in the back of my mind that the item I have on my wrist has...

COSC Regulation of a Movement?

This is a hypothetical question, but might become reality. I’d like to add a COSC certified (dive) watch to my collection. Accuracy is always important to me and I quite like the idea of the little certificate too. The issue is size of watch; ideally I’d like it to be the smaller case size that CW d...

Re: CWL of the day

A dull and gloomy day here, so I’m hoping the little pop of orange on my C65 GMT will brighten things up a tiny bit 94E6679A-BA99-4D8B-B175-96372171ED38.jpeg Also a good chance to break in its new strap - custom veg tanned leather in distressed vintage khaki. 94E6679A-BA99-4D8B-B175-96372171ED38.jpe...

Re: C65 Trident Vintage MK2 or Tudor Black Bay 36mm

Those are two very different watches; different aesthetics, different prices, different manufacturers.... Saying that though, I was in a similar position last month and stuck with my C65 Trident Vintage MK2 over a purchase of a BB. I bought the C65 when it was first released. I got it on a leather s...

Always good to see someone praise the positives rather than harp on about the negatives!
I’m glad your watch buying process went well, enjoy.

Definitely looks better on the leather and will be mighty fine to wear in 3 months.

Re: Anyone fancy a Coke?

Very nice!

It’s a more subtle, subdued shade of red than I have seen in other brands so it does the job but does not shout it in your face.

Congratulations on the effort!

Re: New CW owner confused

I continue to buy their watches, and fully support the brand, because I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. This is from visits to their showroom, prompt replies to emails and polite, well-informed and efficient telephone calls to them. I think that the reason you “see” so many nega...

Re: Questions - Chat with Co Founders - London GTG / CW Event - 31st August 2019

My question: Are there any plans to fit an automatic, COSC certified, in-house movement to the smaller sized CW watches, ie models at 38mm? I understand the SH21 is simply too big, but, to me, one of the stand-out positives of the CW lineup is the sub-40mm case size models, as well as the fact that...

Re: Introducing the C65 Military Range - Dartmouth / Sandhurst / Cranwell

For me it will be a toss up between the Sandhurst and the Cranwell models. I love the military looks, homage or no homage (personally I think the light catcher cases are unique enough to negate the homage argument). Logo placement also looks good (although I like the 9o’clock placement equally) and ...

Re: New Stainless and bronze Ombre's added to website

Quite like the C65 Trident Bronze Ombré. Price is a bit steep, but good to see a COSC movement in this range of watches. I still wish they’d extend this quality and idea to their smaller, 38mm models too.
