Re: Final Update (warning long read) - Advice Needed - Small Imperfection on the C65 Trident Auto

Just read the outcome. Truly shocking. But very believable.
Again I ask, Mike France, when DOES your changes start?
I’ve been told they already have and should give them time. Well, ain’t working is it?

Re: Final Update (warning long read) - Advice Needed - Small Imperfection on the C65 Trident Auto

I am astounded......I was initially excited by the thought of owning a CW watch, but it seems there are so many problems around QC and customer service? Is this forum just an unrepresentative sample of owners, or is this far more widespread? We can’t be the only ones Dave. Surely. If it is only for...

Re: Non CW of the Day

There we were, browsing at a Tudor display in a jewellers window, when my wife points to a Ranger and says “I like that one”. “I’ve got one of those” I reply. “No you haven’t” replied she. “I’d recognise it”. :silent: https://i.ibb.co/P9BfLYf/DA046871-6-E62-4264-ABE1-8-E854730-D72-E.jpg Nice lookin...

C1 GMPR on a blue Barton strap today. 6B0BAAAA-0130-4124-8D1A-91C180191C12.jpeg That works very well Paul, cracking watch mate. Cheers Ferg. The strap is a little lighter than in the picture and sets of the blue hands nicely. Still prefer it on the dark blue cordovan/bader clasp though.

Why do CW no longer supply a report of repairs for warrantee work?
You used to?? :-k

Re: Service cost and what is involved in a CW service

Think they have stopped giving repair info on warrantee repairs now. When my C1 came back in June there was no report. Nothing. I rang them and they said you don’t get reports on warrantee work. I think that’s a bit lame tbh. Perhaps that's a question that could be asked at the GTG this month In fa...

Re: Paint has come off He valve, Elite 1000

Personally I would remove the paint from the “H”. It’d look like it was meant to be. Or as Markornot said, fill in with cellulose paint, get a small disk and wrap it in a rag. Soak with acetone and buff up. I wouldn’t send it back. Be gone for at least 8 weeks and you don’t know what stand...

Re: Service cost and what is involved in a CW service

Depends on the watch. All SH21 powered watches go over to Beil, Switzerland. Possibly a few others. The rest will stay in Maidenhead, as I understand it. Guy I certainly wouldn’t send my SH21 back to CW again whilst it goes back to Biel. They have seriously shaky hands over there. Mine came back wi...

Re: New arrival. C65 Trident Diver Blue

Just out of curiosity I tested my C65 hand wound twice over the past week. 1st test: 46 hours 5 mins 2nd test: 45 hrs 50 mins Rather surprised it went for as along as it did. You lucky so and so! [emoji38] What was the result of your second test, Paul? Did I miss it? Guy Sent from my Xperia XZ Prem...

I am at a crossroad. Seriously thinking whether to move the Submariner (2001 14060M) on. IMG_20190819_102652~2.jpg scooter Don’t do it Scooter! You have on you’re wrist a piece of the watchworld’s treasure. IMHO the sub is the greatest watch ever built. I know, a little over the top  Not only ...
