Re: QC & CS for other brands

It is good to keep things in perspective.

Most of CW’s poor CS perceptions could easily be resolved simply by communicating properly. I think GB Shaw wrote: “The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place”.

Re: Trident C60 Orange/Yellow dial leather strap alternatives
What I meant by no logo, is that the leather straps in question have buckles that do not carry the CW stamp
The original CW buckle can be removed with spring bar tool to replace the buckle on the new strap. I usually do this with a new strap as long as the holes are near the same d...

Re: Trident C60 Orange/Yellow dial leather strap alternatives

What do you mean by no logo on the strap. I think most folks here have straps from many different vendors for their CW’s. If you mean the buckle, it’s quite easy to swap out to the CW buckle. Looks good!

Outside Investors?

I recall last year that the CW principals spoke of bringing in outside capital investors in order to support further growth. Did this ever happen?

Re: C60 Trident Mk3 Bezel Rocking movement?

I saw someone had a similar issue on the FB page. I think he contacted cs with a video of the issue. If I recall, the told him it was within tolerances. BTW, I have seven divers including some CW mk ll's ...none of them have any play.

Re: Introducing the anOrdain Model 1

The aged white vitreous enamel dial reminds me of the urinals at the historic Federal building I used to work at so I’d be concerned what might happen after one too many single malts.😬

Re: C65 Trident Diver Question

Maybe just email Scott Callaway directly or better yet ring customer service up...something has clearly fallen thru the cracks. I have had spotty results from time to time with the online request form but direct emails seem to get faster results if response is slow. Scott.Callaway@christopherward.co...

Re: Damaged the crown

If it’s winding as before and the day/date is function is working properly it is probably just the crown that needs replacing for cosmetic purposes. If it’s a screw down crown that still screws in smoothly, even less likely that it did any damage internally. If that’s the case, it should be a relati...

The black 316L prototype with red details.
The prototype looks a little “devilish”...sort of wish they would have went that route to set this version apart

Buying CW beaters...restoring to new?

Not too long ago I bid and won a 316L blue on eBay. The winning bid was excellent at $450US but the watch, although described as excellent, was not. ( I broke my fuzzy photo rule and purchased anyway after communicating with the seller who described it actually as new but that’s another story). I le...

Re: DHL Returns from US to UK

@Markornot - I'm intrigued as to why you don't want to take up CW's offer that will expedite shipping. Seems like a no brainer to me. Guy I was happy with an alternate option they provided and I chose not to return the watch a second time. Hope it did not seem that I was implying that Customer Serv...

DHL Returns from US to UK

Having had a recent QC issue with one of my CW watches in for repair, I inquired with customer service regarding my options. Scott C. repsponded with the following (excerpt): “The other option is that we would like the opportunity to rectify this mistake, so we would like to organise a return for yo...
