Re: Clearance Returns

I’ve been around the house's with CW watches over the last three-or-so years. I remember agonising over whether to buy a bronze trident or a GMT as my first CW watch. Eventually, against my gut instinct, I went for the GMT; which became the first of my flipped CW’s :? Well, I’ve just gone back to my...

^^^^I have met him in person, where we talked for 10 minutes. Super nice guy that doesn't really care if you get his humor or not. Absolute genius.
He’s brilliant and if you only ever watch one of his video it should be this

Re: Coronavirus Weekly Check-In Thread - March 21

I'm retired so I'm already fairly experienced in social distancing... and not greatly affected by the economic turmoil that is getting dramatically worse by the day. I can't help but think that these consequences will far outlast the immediate medical issues. My immediate issue is a vacation planned...

Re: Anybody wear a watch and a fitness tracker band?

Paul, I seem to remember exchanging messages about Apple watches at the end of last year. I came very close to buying one but eventually analysed my reasons for wanting one and realised I was viewing it as a cool watch, which was not what I really needed. I’m on my second Khaki Field, a hand winder this time. I’ve always found them fantastic quality and value for money. The Officer's model?.. No. One of the new 38mm versions, also chocolate coloured, but all over 🍫 https://i.postimg.cc/hG7BrN4y/00-A45-D70-F999-41-B2-BC7-A-FF497-C064-B67.jpg

For all the talk about quick release and micro adjustment bracelets CW still haven’t got around to implementing screwed links. What quality brand today still perseveres with pin and collar ](*,)

As the current custodian of this I’ve been ‘field’ testing it. Running at 0 seconds variation after 75 hrs since last wound and still going strong  Been through all my straps and this Haveston is the current favourite. https://i.postimg.cc/W154RRRN/8-F251289-9-ACA-4415-96-B1-8699215-A5059.j...
