Re: Omega Speedmaster rumour

^^^ Indeed Chris. :) I remember how much the price increase was between the Mark 1 (aluminium bezel)Trident and the Mark 2 ceramic bezel, but initially same bracelet) Trident 2. Think I even pointed out at the time that it was a much, much bigger price increase than when Rolex moved from their 5 di...

Re: Omega Speedmaster rumour

I heard the same from a creditable source... :) About two years ago! I am sure it will happen sometime. To be fair more likely than when I first heard it. Once Omega have milked the Moon connection a bit more. Remind me how much was the RRP of a hesalite Moonwatch in about 2013/14 before big box sy...

Re: Omega Speedmaster rumour

Have heard the same rumblings, going by what I've heard, the older ones will become more sought after.
As for being a cash cow, probably, but can't blame them for pushing one of the most iconic watches of all time.
Don't all brands do that?

Re: Deep Dive into CWArchive Contest Winner

Thank you all! To say that I was gobsmacked to receive the message yesterday would be understatement but it absolutely made my week! Thanks also to the admin team for setting the competition and to Mike France for donating a frankly amazing prize. I thoroughly enjoyed my dives (and typing that I li...

Re: Proliferation of watch brands, Zero West Watches

I know Wyatt has been closely considering one.
I've done a bit of reading up on them and seen a few interviews with the guys, seem top notch fellas and the watches appear to be superb

Re: Where did all the C6 Kingfishers go?

Great point, a question I regularly lob at poor old Ferg on a regular basis. It just shows true fans of the brand appreciate the history of CW which is obviously found regularly on here, and not so much on FB. Incidently, it was one of my favourite CW and still miss it Sent from my SM-G960F using Ta...

Re: The end in sight?

I take a different view to be honest Patrick. I think economic pressure is going to mean restrictions are lifted way too early. Look at Iran where they had a good hold on things and now that restrictions have been eased things are getting ugly again. Similar in india and pakistan although they neve...
