Re: Non CW of the Day

Really don't mind putting this on at the beginning of the day, but I'm starting to miss my C60 whilst it's back at CW.

What what? I know the transcript is due to be uploaded today, but could you elaborate on the above a little in the meantime

Re: Scam

I've just noticed an "advert" on Gumtree now where a guy is appealing for people not to buy his vintage Rolex he was scammed out of. Similar sort of thing, was sent a PayPal receipt showing payment received, but it was indeed a fake. Still, he shipped a Rolex without checking that his PP account sho...

Beautiful watch and a very good strap pairing there.

Nice and subtle with the red accents giving it just the right amount of 'pop'.

Re: A Shocking Announcement

I've only been on the forum a short while, but it is clearly evident that she has done a superb job adding a warm, personal touch to customer services at CW.
Tough pair of shoes to fill!

Anyway, I wish her all the best in her future endeavours. =D>

Re: Halios Seaforth prototypes (pic heavy)

Confirmed recently within Instagram comments he'll be assembling a handful of just that combo, so with one email you could grab something very unique... Thanks for that Jon. I don't use Instagram so wouldn't have seen that otherwise. Interesting that he doesn't think the black/blue is a good look. ...

Re: Chat with Chris 2017 Questions

Has there been any progress made on an orange ceramic bezel for the 600, or is it dead in the water?

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170608/a55df8e0be9e6a38ea3ba8250ef340d3.jpg Just re-read some of the thread re. the Orange ceramic bezel. I wonder how obvious the translucency would have been had they used white paint on the bezel with the white dial. May ask CW if they're up for it, with me tak...

Re: CW watch design suggestions

When do we get an orange ceramic C60? That's what I'd really, really like for Christmas. Maybe that could be a question posed to CW. I know when I queried ages ago about it, Omega apparently had a patent on the manufacturing process?? :? http://preview.ibb.co/kjtFJF/c60_600_orange_white_bg.jpg

Re: Vintage Gallery

Wearing my April '79 Seiko 7025-8100 at work today on a black Eulit Kristall perlon. Case is 37mm diameter and apart from the 20mm lug width, dimensions are pretty much identical to my GS SBGX061 which I'd consider it a fairly large watch for it's year. Again, no need for servicing as timekeeping is...

Re: C60 misaligned indices

Doesn't help though that the bezel appears to be one click out. Yeh, that was just the perspective from camera angle. To be fair, my original post probably wasn't clear enough about what the 'actual' issue was with the 12 indices. I guess I wanted to see if someone actually noticed or whether I was...

Re: The Bargain Hunters Thread

Not sure whether this can be classed as a true bargain, but white dial Longines Hydro auto chronograph w/ white dial @ 995 GBP. Had a quick look around and it seems keenly priced. https://www.fraserhart.co.uk/longines-conquest-men-s-automatic-stainless-steel-bracelet-watch-3.html Edit: added this Lo...
