Re: C65 Super Compressor - Deep Blue
What a colour ! and I like the use of orange on the hands and pips as well. That's the shade of dark blue I've been waiting for but unfortunately for me it's been used on a watch case style that I don't like. I do hope that CW use that dark blue with sunray on another watch that has the name at 12....

Re: C65 Sandstorm Chronometers
^^ Hi Frank, Thanks for your reply.
I imagine for anybody in the UK considering buying 1 of these Sandstorms the potential reduced return period and USA return location would be quite useful maybe even important information.

Re: C65 Sandstorm Chronometers
Nice first try maybe for a pointer function watch but, as has been the case recently, there's too much detail and this time on a small(er) dial. Another model not for me except that again the name logo reverts to 12 (which IMO is a positive) when, as far as I can see, there's nothing in the design ...

Re: C65 Sandstorm Chronometers
I think that some are not grasping that these were designed by Worn and Wound in collaboration with CW. This is what W+W wanted. As can be seen from some of the responses I doubt that making that point known will make any difference - I think these will still be considered as a CW watch and those d...

Re: C65 Sandstorm Chronometers
If it's only via order with W&W is it still on 60/60 guarantee? From the WindUp Shop details;- "Warranty: 5 Years on Movement" Guy Thanks Guy. Sorry but I should have been more specific in my question as I was curious if having to buy direct through W&W affected the other part of the 60/60, i.e the...

Re: C60 Blue Limited Edition
I was hopeful the waves would be etched, like on the new Seamaster. The depth those add to the dial, and the way they catch the light is amazing. It is perhaps worth noting that the Seamaster is at a different price point in the market. Also the Seamaster's dial is solid (I don't know whether plast...

Re: Feeling lonely with my C65 Chrono
Sorry but at £1800 on the bracelet it's too expensive to overcome the details that don't suit me...too many colours, too many minute markers, screw-in pushers too prominent. Good logo position though

Re: Deep Dive into CWArchive Contest Winner
For various reasons I didn't enter this so here's a totally un-biased "Congratulations" to the Team for organising the competition, CW for giving the prize, all those that found the correct answers and the winner.
Well done all.

Re: C60 Blue Limited Edition
Apologies if this has been asked and answered elsewhere (I couldn't see anything on this thread) but what is it about a Sapphire dial that it needs or shows 2 screw heads at the 3 and 9 positions? Normally a dial has feet on the back that slot into holes in the movement to help position the dial co...

Re: C60 Blue Limited Edition
I've looked at the pictures of this watch so much over the last few days, to check what I like vs what doesn't suit my tastes, as I love the concept but not sure that I could live with the actual item. Apologies if this has been asked and answered elsewhere (I couldn't see anything on this thread) b...

Re: The Power of Suggestion
I can live with: Left-justified logo Bezel color to 16 Different colored date wheel Vintage lume (sometimes) I cannot live with: a date cyclops vintage lume (sometimes) 42+mm size Super busy dials (except for when I can) Orange & blue color combo And just those 9 design features will make hundreds ...

Re: C60 Blue Limited Edition
I love the idea of this LE, the lume is superb, 40mm is the ideal size but there's too many areas of dislike for it to be any good for me. Unfortunately it seems that my tastes and CW designs are a long way off sync at present and probably have been for some time. Never mind I'll keep wearing my old...

Re: Buying a spare bracelet?
The best reason for buying now has already been stated, i.e. for the QR facility, and for that to become the "in-use" bracelet with the presently owned to become the back-up. Or try to sell that 1 and buy 2 x QR bracelets if funds allow ? That depends to some extent on the user. Admittedly, the OP ...
