Grey Imports?

No official Seiko three year guarantee but their own two year guarantee.
That's a standard EU warranty on all sales from any retail business.

Re: C60 600 GMT Green Bezel

I've ordered one as well - decided the sale price and 60:60 offer was too good to miss!

I really like the green bezel brown strap look :)

Just found an old(ish) Raymond Weil buried in a drawer

When I officially asked my first wife's father for her hand in marriage he said that he wanted to buy me a present to welcome me to the family. I said I didn't want anything and then he asked to look at my watch - I had a yellow Snoopy one at the time! "I'll get you a watch" was his reply. A week la...

Buying in Hong Kong

It looks like I'm off to Hong Kong next month and wondered if anyone here knew much about pricing out there and if there were any particular brands that might be much cheaper to buy than in Europe?

Re: New watches added to sale

I guess it's also because the sales aren't that well publicised and prices aren't broadcast all over the place. If a potential buyer isn't constantly watching the site for pricing updates he/she might not notice the 50% off deals. Some information will be cached on sale pricing but if someone is bro...

Re: New watches added to sale

Oh yes  Pricing on eBay seems definitely strange - I've seen a few things, that don't seem to be that rare, being offered at above retail price and they seem to be from private sellers and not specialist retailers who need to make a margin to exist. I'm a complete newbie to this market so ma...

Re: New watches added to sale

Is it me or are some of the watches that have been in Clearance already appearing on eBay at a premium on the sale price (maybe some even at full retail price)?

Does this happen often?

I could still see it available about 23:00 last night. Didn't try to actually buy one though.
