Anyone else having problems with PM’s?

I’ve had a few issues recently when I’ve sent private messages to people and they’ve said they haven’t seen them.

I can see the message has left my outbox which would indicate they’ve been opened but the person I’ve sent them to says they haven’t received them.

Re: January Sale 2019

8 sale watches on eBay already with £150-£200 premiums.

4 from the same seller.

‘Smart’ tactic to get them listed immediately as it gives them 3 days before general public can see the true sale prices. . .

More importantly, any news on the CW Christmas sale?
Only that it’s ‘officially’ called a January sale 😂

I’ve owned an Ascari and a VW4 but the only one I’ve hung on to, so far anyway, is this one.

I think it’s the slightly less ‘cluttered’ dial that’s helped it hang around :)

Re: Which is the most popular / desirable C70 ?

Speaking of C7's - its reminded me that the C7 IRR COSC is another rare beast ... only seen one for Sale this year ... Welcome. The Bluebird is lovely though not actually a C70. That’s good to know. I’ve not seen many either :) I will almost certainly get round to selling mine in the new year (alon...

Re: Clearance section

I couldn’t resist the red on red C7 auto. I like the Rosso Corsa when it came out but I’ve never liked day/date faces so the simpler version is just what I was looking for :)

...and for those that don't do Facebook, how do you get one?
Only on the used market. All 50 sold pretty quickly.

Re: PINION Ex-Demo's

I've not been aware of Pinion before so had a good look through their site even though the ex-demos had all gone. Some nice looking dials and would like to see a TT with the shade of blue they've used on some of their other models. The area around Henley-on-Thames is getting to be the watch equival...

Re: Anal retentives unite!

Reminds me of the time I sold a car that we’d owned for some years, to a work colleague. I supplied an immaculate car, complete with full service history and all receipts. I’d even put brand new tyres, exhaust & radiator on it, to help with the sale. The guy saw the add on our notice board and came...

Fantastic Customer Service!

I know CW customer service doesn’t always get the best rep here but I have to say I was overwhelmed with them this week. I popped in on Monday to drop off one watch for a re-case and another for a battery and check over. Whilst there I’d also arranged to swap a couple of straps I’d bought that weren...

Re: General Servicing & Battery Replacement

I have just asked for a quote on my Bluebird that needs a battery - I’ll keep you posted on price :) Sorry - I could've helped here! I just got my Kingfisher back from a battery a week ago. It cost £22.95 including £7.95 for postage. (So, £15 for the battery change) Unfortunately I wasn't overly ha...
