Re: C60 Apex Limited Edition

The black date wheel is a disappointment. If the experience of owning a C7 Apex is anything to go by, its the back of the watch that most people care about. That SH21 is HD watch pawn especially with a rotor like that.

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread

^^^^ As far as I am aware no bracelet option; trying to keep the price reasonable....   I understand made in collaboration with a golfer. Still I think he won $12m at the weekend, so it won’t trouble him. Neil That price is utter madness. Hodinkee obviously feel the price is fine, w...

I voted for #4 and #5 only. If #3 is the winner I wouldn't be upset and would still be prepared to purchase.

Re: The 40 mm C60 four months on?

I haven't seen a 40mm in the flesh yet so, for me, the jury is still out. A 40mm watch probably isn't considered small by most but it is for me. I tend to prefer a larger watch and most of mine are in the 41 - 44mm range. I don't really gel with the obsession about smaller watches. I might change my...

Re: How Careful / Paranoid Are You About Wearing Your Best / Most Treasured?

I keep them in a box when I'm not wearing them. I try not to wear a watch with a nice leather strap to the gym, otherwise anything goes. I have some "expensive" watches but no investment pieces. So they get daily wear.

Re: Is C11 a good CW starter

I had a C11 Elite which I sold. I liked the look but it was uncomfortable on my 6.75" wrist. The lume was also pretty bad. Comfort issues aside, it was a fun watch to wear and always made me smile when I wore it. They are older watches and almost all will be out of warranty or in need of a service. ...

Re: They have to go!

Just a guess but I suggest that selling through a dealer is the easiest way to sell a watch like the Rolex and Audemars Piguet. You may not (and probably won't) get the best price but the risk is low. The cheque is unlikely to bounce for a start. Selling privately would take longer and expose the OP...

Re: C60 Apex Limited Edition Preview | Launches 28th August

My car's speedo has a number on it that the handbook steadfastly claims the car can't do...and if it did I could get banged up for trying to prove it. :D Then the complication you need is the red flag which has to be waved for motorised transport. (Can't have you scaring the horses don't you know.)

It looks like a fun day out in Knightsbridge. Did any of them take your fancy? Do you need to re-write your wish list?
