Re: Fastest Finger on the Button
I don’t know about the rest of you, but it just doesn’t feel like a proper sale without the Al Deere popping up. I recall seeing one there briefly along with the Morgan offerings. I got the email and opened the site at 3.30pm at which point there were 112 watches (91 were automatic). 60 mins later ...

How do you find legibility on the white Sealander? The indices have more of a bevelled / raised edge than the C60 ones so it looks like the silver doesn't blend into the dial.

Re: eBay / Chrono24 / other?
Pretty much every watch I've sold has been through eBay. I guess larger audience and the various selling / buying promos help. For example, there's a current promo running for 10% off when buying used / preloved goods including watches that makes it attrractive to buyers, and there's always seller p...

Re: Where do you keep your daily watch?
My daily watch is usually on my wrist and only ever removed when in the shower, swimming or doing DIY. No watch winders or routine here, I pick on the spur of the moment from the watch box but tend to match the piece with what Im wearing.

Re: I don’t need a Dartmouth, right?
The solution is simple. Wear the Aquitaine on the left and the Dartmouth on the right. That way, neither will get jealous and no need to worry about rotation. Bonus that you dont need remember which arm to raise to tell the time.

What used to be one of my least favourite colours has now become my most prolific
I really like blue hands on a crisp white dial though, and on a blue strap.

My Tag does this very same thing when the battery is nearing end of life. Still keeps perfect time though.

Re: Is it only me, or are used watch prices soft?
I think that he was mainly referring to a lot of the interest free loans that were floating around during that period. There was a lot of cash being injected through many different avenues. This +1. With all the free money being handed out like sweets, it had to filter it's way down somewhere and w...
