Re: FLE #8 - major changes
Not a fan of two tone dials so didn't put my name down for the first one. If I had though, an alu bezel would rule it out for sure, I've had them before and they look used and worn in no time tending up pick up the slightest scratch. Look forward to a reboot though if it ends up going back to the dr...

I'd like to see a black bezel, yellow dial version.

Re: C65 Trident Diver SH21 Limited Edition review
Thanks for that. Yes, I think a glossy finish ceramic bezel would look great and contrast nicely with the matt dial.
I had a Trident 300 with an aluminium bezel which got messed up in no time and that was just me wearing it to the office no more than twice weekly

CW spin on the Patek tagline
Don't know if anyone saw this but in the latest Loupe (last page), there is a full page CW ad about servicing where they take the Patek tagline and put a spin on it.

Really enjoyed reading the review, thanks.
Nice watch too, how are you finding the aluminium bezel though? They're quite prone to scratches and scuffs which is why I've avoided them.

Re: Christopher Ward Womans Watch?
Quite a few of the current / old watches were fine for women to wear too. I'm thinking the 38mm Trident and older C50, especially given the trend for chunky cases and larger dials that women seem to be wearing over the last few years.

Re: Incoming C9 5day Chronometer
I recently bought the same one in white
Dial is easy to read as the hands are blue and not silver like the white dial Trident. The black and blue dial have a lovely sun-ray type finish though.

Re: C8 POWER RESERVE
Hi and welcome  I think it's a stellar watch in the matt steel finish and has some lovely subtle details like the altimeter style date with cut out numbers and sandwich dial with mix of applied quarter markers. Once fully wound, it's good for 5 days but because it's not an automatic, you'll st...

Re: Has SH21 evolved since launch?
Ok, mystery solved, Paul wins the forum today, it does appear to be about how much the watch is fully wound  The C9 43mm once it's nearly out of juice also jumps the second hand back and it's actually more than 5 secs  I've fully wound the other two watches and the snap back gets less t...

Re: Has SH21 evolved since launch?
By "jumping back", I mean it snaps back 5 secs when setting to an earlier time (not when winding forward though) but when you stop turning the crown, it returns to the original place. For example, if the time is stopped whilst the second hand is on 10 past the hour, and I then wind the time back, th...

Has SH21 evolved since launch?
So I have three SH21 movements in front of me; a C9 43mm which I got at launch, a Trident bought about 3 years ago and a C9 40mm from these very forums  On the C9 43mm, when setting the time, the seconds hand doesn't move. On the Trident and C9 40mm, the seconds hand jumps back about 5 seco...

General questions about SH21.
What are the plans for the movement? What watches are in the pipeline with the 5-day power reserve? It's a modular design so any details they can share about future complications?

Re: C60 MK3. what would you change ?
The only thing I'd change are the minute and hour hands, they're awful. I miss the precision of the onion shape on the old mark 2. The other thing I'd change, which is also the case with the Mk 2, are the polished indices. On a white dial you can't even read the time at certain angle. It'd be nice t...
