Re: New to me Breitling Navitimer
Congratulations, Greg. Great watch, though I can’t get my head around the slide rule bezel (can’t use an ordinary one either!)

Re: Drab, slab sided, blobby indices…
Congratulations, Neil.
You hinted elsewhere that it’s not my type. Still a fine watch though. I wish you much enjoyment with it (maybe up a mountain in a different time zone).

JJfengye Welcome. Do please visit the Member Introduction section and tell us about yourself. 8) I’m currently wearing my C63 Sealander GMT (non-COSC Sellita SW330-2) which appears to have gained three seconds over the last two days. As Bahnstormer_vRS points out, historically very few GMTs from CW...

Re: Crystal and case durability of CW watches
Just adding to the overall sentiment…
Minor marks on cases and bracelets are a fact of life for normal watch wearers. I’ve never yet had a sapphire crystal from CW that showed any damage.

Re: Bezel uses
There has to be a real workd use for a tachymeter bezel..... Well, according to my Speedy, Bill, you did that kilometre in a shade under 22 seconds, so 160 km/h, which in miles per hour equates approximately to… Hang on, Geoff, there’s some bloke behind flashing a blue…oh, ****! (Woo-woo-woo…) Good...

Re: The Non-Curmudgeons Corner
^^^ I don’t think I have watched it since the days of Eric Bristow, John Lowe, Jocky Wilson and some huge Welsh bloke, but back then they all looked as though they could do with a few sessions in the gym and a month or two of prawn salads.

Re: Six Nations 2024
One thing that is very good for rugby is the number of close games we seem to get. OK, we got a few one-sided games in RWC, but the Bokke won quarter, semi and final by a single point…remarkable. Italy have beaten Scotland and drawn with France. The days are over when they would go to Twickenham &am...

Re: Time to reset our watches?
^^^ I believe there were. I’ve seen projections with the Americas in the middle and the edges bisecting Asia. I’ve seen inverted maps with south at the top centred on Australia. And there’s a story about one of the Apollo astronauts who could see the whole globe through the window as the spacecraft ...

Have any forum members entered the draw? And, more to the point, have any drawn Mr Wonka’s Golden Ticket?
