What o...

Re: I'm back: an apology and an explanation.

I only had about 13 watches but that was enough to get a lambasting from friends who think its weird to have anything above 1 or 2. I got very much the same from a friend the other week. She seems to think 40 pairs of shoes is OK,though, along with a cabinet stuffed with about 100 cutesy little gla...

The future is ORANGE!

Well, maybe not the whole future...I'm trying to work out what I had against orange watches  The Orange Monster is a fabulous piece and will make a superb holiday watch  My first diver, my first piece of orange, and I'm very impressed! :D http://i1132.photobucket.com/albums/m575/Stev...

Steel case? Black, definitely....or brown.
Gold case? Brown, for sure...or black.

Order a spare strap then you can pretend you have two watches! :D

Re: CWL Piccolo Winder Review

An excellent review, Kip - well done, and  to CW for making it available. I only have 2 automatics (no. 3 probably due tomorrow in monstrous orange form!). Up until now I've just let them run down, set them in the morning on days when I want to wear them, given them a few winds and away we ...

My Sellita SW200 in the C5 is pretty consistent at around +5/6 s/d
Very similar to the performance of the ETA 2824-2 in my C8, in fact!

Re: Nomos Tangente - just arrived!

One week in...I had every hope that the accuracy of a watch of this quality would be very good. It appears to gain 2-3 sec in a 12-hour period of wear, but obligingly loses more or less the same overnight if left crown up. So, without any correction since first set last Tuesday, it is currently at +...
