Full Circle
Back in 2005, I was pretty much a one-watch guy. This was my watch: https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20250202/2874e788dc6ed5b8bad78bdb0613eef6.jpg A Citizen Promaster 200m w/r, decent quality quartz, with legibility as a key strength. Since then, more than 100 watches have come and gone, but it seem...

Rather than face the interminable wait, we have decided to fund my wife's hip replacement ourselves, as we see it as a small price to pay for 2/3 years of improved quality of life. However, it has to be said, it will cost the same as a very nice motorbike, never mind a watch or two!

Torx T5 felt like a good fit when I just tried it. I must stress i did not actually loosen anything, but the screwdriver head was a solid fit.

Re: Scotland Recommendations
@downer, Staying in Edinburgh is the equivalent of me going to Denver and thinking I had seen the best of Colorado. That’s hilarious, and your sentiment is not lost on me. Question for you though, are you saying there’s more to Scotland than Edinburgh (obviously!), or are you saying that if one is ...

Agree with Guy and Neil. Edinburgh (or the other tourist towns such as Fort William) are nice places, but they don’t represent the best of Scotland. Rent a car and get into the north west. Stay at 2 or 3 small hotels and see the real deal. Staying in Edinburgh is the equivalent of me going to Denver...

Re: The most beautiful songs?
Here's a terrific version of a great song. The original artist Tracy Chapman with Luke Combs (who has revived this song in a relatively recent cover).
In my opinion, it's worth a watch, as well as a listen.
