Re: New Bespoke LE proposal: C63 Adventure

trademarks are not generic - they are per category and per territory In the UK category 14 is Jewellery and watches, even then you have to specify the detail within that category, so: - Martin James Whitehouse has it registered for Silver bullion; Gold bullion, Coins and Bars. - BHRS Group have it f...

Re: New Bespoke LE proposal: C63 Adventure

loved the design with the blue - doesn't interest me as much with the black, so won't be looking at it - shame as my mean concern previously was the afficionados bit on the back which is now removed! :)

Re: New bespoke project alert: C63 Atlantis

It is a superb watch - I would have looked at buying it except that I don't want CW Aficianados on the back - sounds too american to me and would diminish the watch...

but design on the front - superb...

US Buyers - de minimis rule

For those in the US, the de minimis rule allows imports valued at less than $800 (£650) to enter the United States duty-free, as long as they are packaged and addressed to individual buyers. This is where buying from the UK can save money - however it is worth noting that Trump sees this as a loopho...

Re: January Sale - 2025

It might simply be different staff manage different parts of the ordering system - so the sale could be dealt with separately and others deal with non-sales purchases, ensuring that any delay only impacts sales items where hopefully purchasers in feeling that they have a bargain price-wise mind less...

Re: January Sale - 2025

It’s partly been asked above already and I ask the below without agenda/criticism and more just from an understanding perspective, never having dealt with stock/logistics myself: To my untrained mind, it would seem easiest (and ‘fairest’) that you simply dispatch by order date, oldest order first. ...

Re: Customer service

I know CW are making better money on the basis of higher priced watches. If you make £30m turnover on BCs you are selling 10,000 watches. If it's Dunes you are most likely selling 30,000 watches. The lower the price the harder it is to manage the service. You have more units to ship, more returns t...

Re: Customer service

I think that everyone has their own definition of good / bad customer service - however I think it is rarely disputed that good and accurate communication underpins a lot of good customer service... For CW - simply getting accurate systems that talked to each other more accurately would help enormou...

Re: Customer service

All good suggestions and not pretending CS is perfect but what are you prepared to pay for top notch CS? Because it’s going to cost, and that cost is going on the price as sure as the sun is coming up tomorrow. The annual sale has always caused CS issues, and usually creates a bit of discussion her...

Re: Customer service

I've had it answered when I've called. If not, there's a voicemail, I've left a message and received a call back. This is one more reason Customer Service seems like amateur hour. Oh. Why amateur? What alternative would you suggest? Guy Sent from my Galaxy S23 Ultra using Tapatalk It does s...

Re: January Sale - 2025

Extended delivery times are already stated;- https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20250124/ab8cba3131ba79c7323670abf62ddf4f.jpg Guy Sent from my Galaxy S23 Ultra using Tapatalk yes... with a caveat that they will reach out - which I am not sure is happening... Looking at that statement - it really does...

Re: Customer service

the points above are valid - but it is not just about the customer service when in contact - there are two fundamental issues before that: - you can't get hold of anyone on the phone either ref orders or customer service and there is no queue it just cuts you off after a short time - so they need to...

Re: January Sale - 2025

to be fair there is still some excitement - for me it was the purchase of my first CW watch for some years - 63 Sealander - superb watch... (and a 660 300 PRO if it actually turns up...

there will no doubt still be stories of watches incoming...

Re: January Sale - 2025

Looks as though the sale is formally over - even the hidden links no longer bring up the sale page now...

All that suspense and tension - now need to await the summer for the next exciting instalment!

Re: CWL of the day

Nomenclature? Official name, as in the CWArchive, is the C60 Elite 1000 as it is a version along with the Black/Black and Blue/Blue. T0BK0 is part of the SKU. "black'n'blue T0BK0" is a bit convoluted for a nickname. :-k :-k I'm stumped. :problem: :problem: Guy black'n'blue - perhaps shoul...
