Re: Is this acceptable on a £1250 watch?

Hmmm...I'm seeing 2 types of motion in your bezel -- backplay (clockwise rotation) and lateral play (the bezel shifting off-center, such that a gap appears between the inner bezel edge and the crystal edge). The backplay is worse than I would like to see, but it's not the worst I've seen in the pric...

Re: Quick review - C60 Trident Mk 3

I haven't posted here in a long time, but the new C60 really impresses me. I'm especially taken by the Elite, as I think titanium is a fantastic material for a dive watch. Last night, I was on the verge of buying the C60 Elite, but wife convinced me to sleep on it. Came back today, and now they're p...

Re: My sad (epic) tale with CW

Sadly, my recent experience with CW is much like the original poster's. The C60 was to be the 4th CW watch I've owned. So I suppose you could consider me at least sympathetic to CW if not a fan. When the C60 was announced, I contacted CW to see if a particular serial number was available, and upon r...

Re: Gents Kingfisher "Splash" Diver Poll

I dont think it will look like a Rolex copy. I hope SBD will not mind me borrowing a pic of his partners watch. I had not appreciated before that the indices and hands were actually metal finish. Quite an interesting detail I thought as I had not picked that up from the CWL site. They looked white....

W6 Splash Diver impressions

My wife just received this one. She told me she likes how versatile it is -- sporty, pretty, and can be dressy too. To my eye, it's a lot of watch for the money. The polished case and dial markings provide the right amount of feminine *bling*, the MOP dial has a great deal of depth and movement, and...

Re: Why such a fuss about Automatics?

I like automatics more than quartz (not exclusive of quartz) for 2 reasons.
1) The sweep seconds
2) An automatic movement is like a moving sculpture to me. It's part function and part art.

Re: C6 Forum LE and friend(s)

Thanks everyone!

TotalAxcess, I love the shots you've taken of your orange Kingfisher Pro! They're one reason why I've continued to come here since I bought my cream dial version a few months ago. :D

C6 Forum LE and friend(s)

Was nice out today, so I took the oppotunity to snap these pix. The 2 C6 divers are the most obvious subjects, but another friend happened to come along and pose for a few. Sure was nice that he was color coordinated to match the Forum LE! :) http://i280.photobucket.com/albums/kk170/skunksi/DSC01256...
