I prefer the hands on the auto (they wont fit the original - I asked!) and I also like the big secnd hand so you can appreciate the smooth mechanical movement. Well, had the watch getting on 3 weeks now and can't stop looking at it. No idea what the time is, mind.

The longer it takes the more I'm leaning towards getting a Steinhart B-Uhr as well / instead.

Gotta admit though, the Anglicised pilot appeals most.

That or the Glycine Combat 4 is my choice.

I reckon - as can be seen by the top pic - the excellent design means the watch sits low enough, flush to the wrist so it can 'carry' the height.
