Re: How bad are rolling shifts of stupid hours?
I'm being promoted at work, from newbie to a minor supervisory role. At the same time I'm going from reasonable 6AM-2PM or 2-10PM mon-thu and shorter on fri to stupid 5AM-3PM and 3PM-1AM 4 days on 4 off, swap shift. Your new shifts 4on/4off are actually very reasonable, and with a promotion (from n...

Re: Discussion: Maturing as a collector
As someone who has had an interest in watches since an early age, during my time I've learned, Tag Heuer is overpriced ordinary, Rolex is absolute overpriced ordinary and Cartier is mugs parting with their money far too easily. There are so many better watches on the market from brands whose watches...

Re: Do you ever ONLY want a bracelet (or a strap or whatever)?
Only ever a bracelet watch wearer here, the only exception being when I dive, when my original 35yo+ Waterborne Australia strap gets its deserved time below the surface. Sadly that fine specimen of a dive strap is no longer a must have, having been sold to Asian interests, it is I believe, sadly, ru...

Re: Repair Process For C20 Lido
How do you know/determine its an obvious fault?
May very well be related to the way the watch has been treated by its owner, so IMHO its not unreasonable for CWL to make that decision on providing a quote.

This is very un-PC, but actually true.
You have 5 items.....
A washing machine, a refrigerator, a woman, a television and a freezer
What is the odd one out and why?

Re: Watches in bed
Absolutely do, 365 days (366 in a leap) a year, have done since I was in my early teens, so going on doing so for nearly 40yrs. Never been as issue, as a watch wearer its a natural thing to do IMHO.

New Watch 20 ATM - Melbourne Watch Company
Hi Forumites As someone on the mailing list for the Melbourne Watch company, they have a new release retro divers (ATM20 - Miyota 9015 Automatic) limited to 25 in each colour (4). https://www.melbournewatch.com.au/collections/chelsea Its somewhat bizarrely discounted A$200 to A$595 on release and wi...

So what's your perfect size then?

A paradoxical question indeed. The post from 5oclockhero responded to your 'open' question with a relevant reply.

Re: C60 Concept Limited Edition in Loupe
If the C60 Apex is anything to go by this is going to be closer to 4,000 quid. Mike France has said, "it ain't gonna be cheap." And a watch company losing its way in recent years from its original mantra IMHO. If this timepiece retails anywhere above 3000quid its a joke. The Apex was mass...

Enoksen - Northern Ireland Watch Brand
Hello CW Forumites I've just come across this brand during a watch related google search: https://enoksenwatches.com/ Headed straight to the CW Forum to see if there was any comment, search for Enoksen revealed nothing. Their website is very interesting, including their 'ambassadors', the 'build you...
