Re: CW hints at what's new in 2020

Some good detective work there. They’re a bit ‘sporty’ for my liking but I can see them being popular.

Re: Confirmation of order

Yes, I’m slightly concerned that’s what may have happened to my second order too. The completing of the Klarna form and uploading of ID took quite a while and whilst I have the confirmation of purchase email from CW, it must have been some time before Klarna confirmed to them that my credit check ha...

Re: Confirmation of order

I'm sure you'd be able to call CW CS to cancel one before despatch....worst case there is always 60:60 Nah, worst case is you KEEP both of them! Haha I wish. Both of them are my favourite of CWs current range, so I was amazed to see both pop up in the NN section within hours of each other. I'm just...

Re: Klarna's online process - a note of caution

I did the Klarna application for the first time today and when I thought it was completed I then got a follow-up email asking me to submit a copy of my passport. Did you complete that stage too?

Confirmation of order

Quite an odd question, but here it goes. Earlier today I was online when a new batch of watches dropped into the nearly new section and was lured in by a heavily discounted Worldtimer. I went got all the way through checkout and then decided to go through Klarna for the 0% finance option. Unfortunat...

Re: C60 vs C65

So guys, when is a good time? I've missed recent sale, how often are they - is it worth cooling the heels or just go for it? If you can keep your powder dry (and depending on how much of a consideration money is for you), I would 100% recommend waiting for one to appear in the 'nearly new' section....

That is fantastic. Love the red and white design (although I am a Charlton fan, so perhaps a bit biased!)

Re: C60 vs C65

I recently bought a black C60 and have similar sized wrists to yours. It’s a lovely watch with a great weight and build quality. It does wear slightly ‘tall’, especially since I often wear mine with a suit and sometimes it struggles to slide underneath my shirt sleeve, but I personally prefer its mo...

Re: Can’t decide.

I have a blue Grand Tourer and I’m a big fan of the design, although it is lighter than expected and, coupled with the fact it’s a quartz, means it does feel a bit cheaper than the other CWs I’ve tried. It would be a considerable bargain over the Farer though, particularly if you’re able to pick one...

Re: Where did it all start?

I have a C3 too that I still wear regularly. It was my only CW for a number of years until I made two purchases in December last year. I still love the look of it and (without wanting to re-start the logo debate) as a born and bred Londoner I like having ‘London’ on the dial.

Re: Jan sale

Plenty of selection initially, but only the Bronze Trident was a slight temptation. Goodness me did everything get snapped up quickly though!

Geckota watches

Obviously a good place to purchase straps and accessories, but does anyone have any first hand experiences of the watches made by Geckota?

They have some quite different looking mecha-quartz pieces at reasonable prices.
