Re: Copying is a form of flattery

The "grid" is quite common - e.g. Mountune, a Ford/VW tuning company and British Touring Cars sponsor... If anything, I'd say they have a claim on the above watch crown logo! https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB1wCfoJFXXXXXzXXXXq6xXFXXXg/80pcs-Mountune-Performance-Flag-Alloy-3D-Boot-45x16mnm-Emblem-Badges...

Especially if it brings the price closer to £1500 than £1800!

Imagine that... you get the same bull**** response I do... I feel you; my issue is still outstanding (Another CS issue thread). I can’t wait to get my watch back, probably sometime in 2020, so I can stop wasting my time with this cesspool. Absolutely laughable company You never know - sending an em...

Re: Service cost and what is involved in a CW service

Perhaps CW previously (mis-)used the word "service" for quartz watches that just meant a battery change, but now if you request a "service" of a quartz watch you get exactly that, while requesting a battery change doesn't (obviously)? It might all down to be semantics and training of their support s...

Re: New Top Gear Hosts

I’d prefer a “real world” car review show that shows cars that us mortals are likely to buy. What we currently get is a show featuring cars rather than being about cars! The target audience of Top Gear don't want that. It's a pretty boring format for a weekly prime TV slot. You can still get that f...

Re: New Top Gear Hosts

It was a lot better than I expected it to be! Mostly location film based with no awkward sofa bit made it better. Chris Harris is still the gem of the show.

Re: Another CS nightmare (still in progress)

I get the impression CW's use of social media isn't quite 2019. While they do seem to post things, they don't have much reach or interaction with their followers. I was in Berlin while the Canadian F1 grand prix was on. I, for a bit of a laugh, tweeted Mercedes asking if they had anywhere I could wa...
