Re: Seiko 5 Brian May Limited Edition | SRPE83K1

Price of the standard SRPD51K2 RRP is £250 and can be had for under £200. As the Brian May is a LE and is likely to be popular with fans of both watches and Queen I personally would pay no more than £300. If one presents itself at this price or less then I'll consider it, but I won't be buying it i...

Re: Farer World timer

Missed this at launch. Those blocks of white as the numerals are beautifully executed, plus the lume everywhere. Lovely watch, shame (or fortunate) they're all gone!

Re: C65 Homage

The crown and case finishing look poor at best. Hmmm, theres a clear difference between inspiration and outright copy/fake. As they arent using the brands logo/name/trademarks apparently its a 'homage'. As someone who's invested 3 years capital and resources in developing a software product only to...

Re: C65 Homage

Wow, CW's expansion to focus on the East must be paying off to warrant such copies. On first inspection, I'd suggest the makers of this copy have even gone to the same component manufacturers.

Re: Would you buy a plug in electric car?

I think the opportunity for decentralised fuel (electricity - generate, store and consume anywhere) versus manufactured and controlled distribution (diesel, lpg, hydrogen etc) is the future. With any luck developers will start installing three phase power to new builds soon too. Solar PV and home en...

Re: Can’t decide.

Farer is guilty of chopping off the numbers on the dial, so CW would be the better choice between the two. I think the Farer watches would look much better with the half-numbers erased completely.
