Re: Worried I’m getting old!

If anything, wanting a bit of gold in the collection makes you younger - have you seen what the influencers are wearing? There's gold everywhere!

Incredible to walk away from that. I also reckon it's the first and last time a driver who does less than 1 lap of the race gets voted Driver Of The Day!

Is that a Russian nuclear submarine on your wrist?

From an Akula Submarine to the Wrist, The Raketa Leopard 24... a Soviet nuclear submarine transformed into watches. Soviet submarine crews needed a purpose-built watch, with a 24-hour movement allowing them to easily distinguish day from night. The Raketa Leopard 24 limited edition continues this tr...

take action against the retailer for the loss you have suffered, ie the extra amount you have had to pay.
Imagine buying a car from a dealership then going to another dealership to take them to court for the extra money you've paid the first dealer ... it doesn't happen.

Re: Retailers honouring pricing errors?

If the seller accepts the payment, the contract is established, and if s/he decides later not to deliver the goods or services, that is a breach of contract. That's the point - payment isn't taken when you complete the checkout process online. It's taken when the order is completed. No contract exi...

Re: Retailers honouring pricing errors?

In store is different to online - clicking buy and providing payment details is just authorising the vendor to process a payment. Someone at the vendor end is yet to process the order and therefore can review any pricing errors. There's really no "contract" until the order is accepted and subsequent...

Re: The Bargain Hunters Thread

Any ideas if this is the newer model with the nicely lumed numerals? No, it's not the updated version. Googling the Oris ref and looking on the official site shows the flat numerals. Also cross-referenced it with the latest ProPilot on there. Both pics below are taken from the Oris site. 01 751 769...

Re: The Bargain Hunters Thread

Chisholm Hunter have a grey Oris ProPilot on bracelet for £825 which seems like a very reasonable deal. Only just above pre-owned prices I've seen. https://www.chisholmhunter.co.uk/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/550x550/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/o/r/oris-01-751-7697-4063-07-8-20-19-fron...
