Re: Stick or twist off into the unknown?

Right now you have two watches that perform different functions and draw your interest for differing reasons. You could make the case that more is better (I certainly subscribe to this) because of variation and changes to wearing behaviours. That said, I find myself gravitating to the few in the col...

Re: Value retention for premium models

I've always tended to track "sold"/"completed" on ebay (well up until recently where it's gone to manure) as a guide on prices - CW and others. My impression is the CW halo models retain 70-80% of their value, as long as they're a full set. It's also rare to see them popping up i...

A kiss from a rose on the dial, a wild wood presentation case. Perfect.

Re: NPD Sealander 2.0 Project

Another option would be a display case back and a manual wind, not automatic. Not sure what movement stock is available off the shelf mind you, I guess the SW210?

Re: NPD Sealander 2.0 Project

^^^ A lot of us are saying the same thing, but I feel like the company’s MO has been Revolution rather than evolution. They want to be groundbreaking. And I’m not sure the company is strong enough sales-wise yet to have a model rest on its laurels? They're in the middle of the road, and can't affor...

Re: NPD Sealander 2.0 Project

A C63 Sealander as a "no bezel" Lumiere would be a good option, but retaining flat or ombre style dial finishing.

I also think the Sealander is the ideal opportunity to introduce a CW equivalent to the Erika's Original strap (complete with twin flags motif) as a GADA option.

New to me today. Very pleased to finally add one to the collection (and wave goodbye to a couple of lesser worn).

Re: C12 Loco - A Revolution in Motion

A "nearly-all-sold-out-so-buy-now-or-miss-out-on-this-batch" type email has just arrived in my inbox Yes, I've had the same, but that's normal marketing really and wouldn't expect anything less... plus when it does sell out on the first 750 drop, at least they can say "we did warn yo...

A very cool addition to the collection! You'll be doing well to ever see another one in the wild. Enjoy wearing it, seems to fit just right.

Re: C12 Loco - A Revolution in Motion

Finally an "in house" hand wound movement. It looks gorgeous! The watch is impressive. I think it actually suits the strap better than the bracelet. I like the detail around the centre wheel with the negative space beneath the minute and hour hands. CW pushing against the ceiling once agai...

Max is having some brilliant drives. But, as per lap 1 today, is the same old dislikeable petulant driver.
