Re: My 10yo C8 has stopped working.

If it's a watch you love and it's worth the cost to you getting it fixed, I hope you do so!

Re: My 10yo C8 has stopped working.

Just stopped? Just like that!? Oh no! I've got several aging auto watches that are still going strong without a service. I didn't realise they just stopped. I assumed you'd get some warning with other issues.

This watch is a beauty by the way! Not one I've seen before.

Re: AR Coating

It seems a bit unnecessary to add a coating to the exterior of the crystal if it risks coming off? Surely the difference in reflectiveness isn't that big a deal?

Re: Darn darn darn..... my new C60 MK2 Yellow LE has a movement issue

One of my older CW watches does this. If I wear it more, it stops. I think it's just a use thing, it'll free itself up.

Re: We've been expecting you Mr B...

You didn't go for the bracelet? I had heard that there were some issues with the original bracelets which had put me off a bit but the main reason was that I couldn't justify the additional cost for the bracelet version. Also, this is a Military style watch which, imo, is best suited to a NATO. The...

AR Coating

I've come across a few threads about watches with AR coating issues. Personally, I've never had this issue with any of my watches, but hear higher end brands like Omega and IWC can have an issue where the exterior AR coating scratches/peels off (that's right, a completely scratch proof sapphire crys...

Re: What Car do you drive??

This month marks the anniversary of losing my very, very beloved Honda S2000. I had a baby and the car no longer sufficed. I ended up getting a great price for it (those things are going up and up) and now drive the most boring car on earth, but at least I pay no road tax!

Re: Can a watch model change your size preferences?

Since joining the Instagam watch family, I've been heartened to see so many women wearing chunky 'mens' watches. It's made me realise all the fuzz and bother that goes on (not to mention the PR hype) with regards to the odd mm added/subtracted here and there is mostyly nonsense. Wear what you like, ...
