Re: CW 2020 Forum Watch of the Year

The Super Compressor is definitely it for me. And though I like the new Deep Blue, my vote is towards the Ocean Blue and Black Sand. I was quite taken aback when they came out and the Ocean is my personal favorite. BTW the Sand is now sold out and discontinued I believe.

I also agree that the Bader is excellent, my sole complaint is that modern versions carry no external branding and thus look generic.
This. They're amazing but look unfinished and bare like that. The old ones had it. Pop the Twin Flags on 'em! :o

Re: C65 Super Compressor - Deep Blue

Wow! That is really nice. :-P I still like the Ocean Blue a lot but I like the cohesiveness of the Deep Blue better. I like all the orange pops! The Ocean still looks like it'd be fun to wear though. :-k

Re: Worn & Wound collaboration

I might be reading too much into it but companies generally give a lot of thought to this stuff - The Christopher Ward used is the 12 o'clock above and below that has been the predominant position of late. Must be in conjunction with the virtual Windup this month. Random Rob , who is a great YouTub...

I found the phase 3 questions harder than Phase 2 but slightly more straightforward than phase 1.
True. First two phases required a cup of tea each but #2 was easy. #3 required two cups of tea; one to research and one to double check. :D

Re: A (virtual) showroom visit and some CW gossip

And I forgot to say... In general the 40mm watches have been a huge hit. The 42mm watches are also selling well. The success of the 40mm has really slowed sales of the 38mm. Draw your own conclusions. I called just that exactly a year ago . While I know some people need a 38mm, most men & wom...

Re: Coronavirus

A third person is my state tested positive for it; all related from travel in Italy. It seems to be under control but I worry more about my 62-year old mother who's in the midst of moving apartments. Lots of people out and about and no reported local cases. Hysteria though as grocery stores sold out...

Re: Christopher Ward Watch Praise

When things like 'Phenomenal quality' are mentioned and people owning Rolex, Zenith etc saying 'why would anyone want anything more' (is he going to sell everything then and buy a CW? NO.) it gets my back up as everything has +/-'s but to be blindly fanboying just doesn't sit right with me. IMO the...

Hmm, if I'm honest, that has me a little worried though...what if I need to have the insert replaced in the future for whatever reason?
Well, when you get your watch back in you will enjoy your newly repaired black on black C60!

Re: 6.5" wrist, C60... 38mm vs 40mm

Some great pictures there! The 38mm is the 'proper' fit for sure, but the 40mm looks more modern and is the better watch. If you don't mind the bigger size I think it looks perfect and stylish on you.
