Re: I Know, I Know...(Logo Opinion)

.... except on the watches where they put the logo back to 12? Not too many to choose from though. I'll be 100% honest and say that I greatly prefer the 2nd logo at the 12 location. The new one is just a bit small altogether. It is a neat and trim logo and meant to fit at 9. Just compare the two he...

Also haven’t been able to see the luminous Moonglow effect as yet - perhaps I’m not wearing it in the right conditions
Well, the Moonglow manual recommends to be flatly floating in orbit during a lunar eclipse to capture full power of the lume. Might want to give it a shot sometime.

Re: I Know, I Know...(Logo Opinion)

The fact they made as bold a change to begin with (when the company was doing so good!) should speak volumes. Unless sales dropped significantly due to the change they won't be reverting back anytime soon. I personally own all three logos and I like them all. I will say the changes do make CWs rathe...

Re: Black Friday offer

Hmmm. I'd be happy if a yellow C65 on bracelet fell into my lap - or rather, onto my wrist - but I'm going to wait to see if luck becomes my friend in the next NN sales. Yeah. I want a 42mm red bezel Trident. I'm not sure if I should just grab it now or see if I can catch a NN. There was one last w...

Re: My Trident Pro 600 GMT

Nice pick up! The wave dial is also one of my favorite features of the Mk II. I've always loved that red bezel so I'm aiming at getting one of the new ones but my Mk II is a keeper.

Re: The new CWArchive

Hey, Kip. I think there's a C5 missing from the Archive: The C5 Galvanic "Mk 1.5" transition model. It was right before the Malverns switched to 39mm. I noticed it some time ago and looking again I can't find it on there. It came in both quartz and automatic. Ferg used to own the black auto. and I s...

Re: Incoming C65 Trident QR bracelet

The watch looks good with either bracelet. Personally, I prefer the vintage pieces with the old style, and, obviously, the new C60 with the new style. For my C65 I won't be changing the bracelet often so I went with the old one.

https://www.christopherwardforum.com/download/file.php?id=8106 https://www.christopherwardforum.com/download/file.php?id=8168 These pictures confirm a complaint I've read a few times about the C65 41mm: Too much dial space up top. Even with the Twin Flags logo I think there's dead space there. It's...

Re: Advice on my second C.W. purchase

I also think the Grand Tourer is a cool vintage piece. I have the 2017 FLE (C3 Mk III 'Panda') and they're a bit too close to it for me to get one. I'm currently coveting a Trident Mk III GMT. There are other CWs which I also like (and some are cheaper) but I think I'm going to wait it out as I add ...

I've been looking at the GMT version of this trying to avoid a purchase. Your picture isn't helping, Ferg! :problem:

I'm not always into black watches but that is just beautiful. :D

Re: FLE #8 Design Vote #2

I was starting to like the blue Ombre a bit though still indifferent. Had it been at 24 I felt I would have voted yes to put it over. But, frankly, I think CW have so many different options right now that a FLE isn't necessarily needed. Perhaps it's the first time for that ever. And there's even mor...

Re: Clearance Retururns

Thanking you, looking forward to it. I just hope that it wears smaller than the previous mk2 version. I had one about 2 years ago and it wore fine on a nato, when I tried a friends mk2 on a bracelet about 6 months ago it felt to big so fingers crossed From what I've read it seems the the 42mm wears...

Re: Clearance Returns

the only thing i guess i could gripe about is that it was supposed to be signed for, yet dhl decided to just open my front door and sit it on the floor inside my house without any notification or having anyone sign for the package even though we were home at the time. that's not CW's fault but not ...

Re: Is the red, ceramic bezel going away?

I imagine any more versions would be released in 38mm or 42mm since that's the actual stock they have left. The 40mm bezel was never produced; sadly. I really wanted one but I guess I could pony up to the 42mm since it wears smaller now.

Re: C65 Pepsi GMT

Mines going back for a refund one of the batons at 12 is higher than the other you can see it with the naked eye,as you say a fantastic watch but once seen my eye is drawn to it each time I put it on how did it pass QC :( It appears the right marker at 12 is slightly lower on his as well. I haven't...
