Starting to think Christopher Ward ... Swish made a huge mistake naming the brand after one person, let alone a person who left the company. Considering their first two watches were Malverns, perhaps that would have been a great name for the company? Omega, Rolex, Malvern... English sounding combine...
I’ve been thinking about this quite a bit lately. To me, this brand text looks very traditional. I can’t help but wonder if they thought because of that it didn’t fit with the direction they were going? The stacked text at 9 o’clock I always felt looked very crisp and modern. I had no issues with i...
That was mentioned in the press release about the current lineups getting the new logo... which makes sense as that happened with the past logo changes. Rob's video shows off how beautiful the Aquitaine is. Looking at it again I think the Oris Divers Sixty-Five was a big inspiration for it but I thi...
Thanks, people. Just had to double check the fact I'm 35 now... woke up realizing my existence on Earth is practically over!  :wtf: I am just taking it easy today. Relaxing, mulling over which TV I will purchase, visiting my mom and the cats. Going to have some cake and coffee soon. At ...
Some have complained about the name since the beginning. Some have encouraged the two flag logo since it came out. They moved the logos around as styles gave them opportunity. They continue to evolve. I’m behind these guys 100%. They listen to the fans and critics no matter how brutal or fanboyish ...
I have one C65... a Vintage MK II. I came very close to purchasing the Automatic version in either color but was drawn to the smaller Vintage for whatever reason. I think the vintage line will come back around 40mm and with improvements so I look forward to checking them out soon.
Somewhat disappointing. I wish the C5's dial were based on the original version with galvanic finishing in the middle. These seem to based on the flat cream dials of the later second run. The bigger size and better case quality is definitely an improvement though. The C8s look real great but, as bef...
I think the bezel change is a good thing. I know some people wanted it though I guess most casual people won't care. I've got one GMT (Monta) and it is bi-directional. Not being a dive watch I appreciate the extra detail for travel.
I don't get the skeletonized thing. I guess I can see the appeal, but I just picture Invicta watches when I think of 'em. For my money I prefer a fancy solid dial.
I forgot that I have a C11 MSL Auto. I believe this was sold in the Aviator catagory back then but it certainly wasn't your typical one. It's one of my favorites.
I've never been an avaitor watch person (though I quite like the jackets!). I love reading about military history (and my grandpa would tell me his WW2 stories growing up) but that's about it. I guess growing up with everything James Bond really drew me to dive/dress watches. I will say though a sma...
