Re: The "I've never seen a stranger wearing a CW" thread

Honestly, most average people I've seen tend to wear cheap quartz watches; either Casio or Invicta types. Anything over $100 seems VERY expensive to them. That's why I keep coming back to CW and the Trident for my next watch because of the value they bring. I realize most of the people out there are...

According to Christopher ward other colours in 40mm will be released in the next few months. One would guess blue will be amongst those colours.
Where did you hear this? Last we heard it was all dependent on the black 40mm's sales.

Re: Are import duties still an issue?

Wow. So a MkIII Trident without the bracelet is $795 while with it it's $910. I'd have to buy the bracelet separate and pay an extra $65. That does suck but it's better than paying $119... I guess! :problem:

Re: C60 Trident Elite 1000 (mk3) - thoughts after a week

- The Bezel looks really good. The click feels cheap, but sounds expensive. Not sure that makes sense if you haven't tried it... I'm not sure what this applies. Are you saying the bezel action is actually poor but has a rich sound? I thought the bezel on the MKII was pretty good for what it was. Ma...

Thanks. I'll be keeping my blue MkII but if they don't expand the 40mm options I may give the red 38mm a try in the future!

Re: Going to give an MK3 GMT 38mm a try.

Real nice looking! I heard even the ceramic got improved too but you can't really tell from the media so much. Your pictures make me want one. I must ask: Does the date window still look good without any applied markers surrounding it? It looks a bit bare in pictures but sometimes those things...

Re: C65 Vintage Discontinued?

I haven't seen that on the site in weeks; definitely even longer than that. The C65 Diver really stole it's shine, and there will be a replacement coming up soon using the new diver's case. I always liked it but they've got a whole new line now.

https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190430/d62ffc25d0fe1e7696a01efec59055ba.jpg As a few people have been pointing out already, when the hands are exactly across from each other they seem to form a trident-like spear. I'd like to imagine that was intended, but it's still cool nonetheless. The new ha...

Re: C60 Trident Pro Mk3 - First look

Some great pictures there, Guy! To add to the comparison picture, the 9 hour markers all vary in size as well. The 40mm has the smallest, followed by the 38mm, then the 42mm is the biggest. I agree that the 40 seems to have the best proportions overall but I do think they're all well done. Hopefully...

Re: And the winner.....

I must say what a kind gesture it was to give away the watch to someone, and then what a kind gesture back from the recipient! Seeing how active Iain is with the get-togethers the watch certainly went to the right person. Cancer seems to effect every family out there and needs all the support it can...

Re: Going to give an MK3 GMT 38mm a try.

I do really love the new blue but don't feel right in just selling and trading up. The MkII is still a very nice watch, and I do like the waves, hands, and bright blue color. 38mm fit my 7+ inch wrist fine. It has good presence because of the case. The new red bezel is very striking too and another ...

Re: New oak leather C2/C20 Lido straps in stock

I bought one in brown early last year. I love the strap options on the C20 as I've never liked the bracelet with this watch. The case is all brushed while the bracelet was polished and even featured a different type of brushing. Maybe it's better in person but it stands out in every picture I see of...
