Not sure if you guys might be interested but I came across this decent deal from buy.com for a Suunto Core which usually goes for a little more than 210usd.

Re: Copies/Homages/ - call them what you will......
I think a general consensus about homages are fine and replicas/copies/fakes are not accepted. I've heard some individuals who feel homages are copies and they would argue that the only difference is the brand. What ever the case I think this topic has been a long debated one that won't really come ...

Re: 00/24 European Watch of the Year 2012 Awards
I know this is an older topic, but I do like the CW. It stands out quite a bit, but with all do respect I'd take the Edox. I'm not a huge fan of the large green push button, but other than that it's a captivating time piece. My vote if it matter would go to the Edox and the CW a close second.

Nice watch kip, it's amazing how some timepieces never lose its appeal after so many years.

Re: Someone trying to jump onto the CW bandwagon...
There's nothing that really stands out about these watches...very middle of the road. But honestly I can't imagine what it must take to actually produce your own branded timepiece, so in that respect more power to him.

Re: Swatch To Limit swiss-movements
I've read that the Sea-Gull movements are made in China and are actually pretty decent. I've thought about purchasing one but haven't decided to commit yet. For myself when it comes to telling time, I don't need it to be that accurate down to the absolute sec. But I guess owning Philippe would be re...

Re: Swatch To Limit swiss-movements
Not sure it might be they feel like the market of swiss made movements are being flooded with new independent companies. What ever the reason it's just not a great move I think. The Swatch Group owns so much of the watch market to begin with, can you say monopoly.

Swatch To Limit swiss-movements
Not sure if anyone keeps up with this but apparently Swatch is going to limit the sales of their swiss movement to independent companies like CW. I wonder if it'll increase prices of CW timepieces and increase its value. Any thoughts? http://www.hodinkee.com/2012/7/18/swatch-reaches-draft-agreement-...

Re: Modify a C9 Harrison to make it hand winding only?
I was reading on another forum that it can be done, by your local watch guy. In addition, once it's removed you have the option to reconfigure it back to its original state. I can't seem to find that article but if I do I'll post it as a link for you.

Re: My First CW - C5 Malvern Automatic
Yeah the Monte Carlo is a very nice one too. The sale came at perfect time, but they flew off the shelf real fast. I wonder if it has anything to do with the Olympics, but that might be a stretch. What ever the case, I think I might put my pre order in now for the c10.
