Re: CW not refunding duties on watch that arrived faulty and was returned

CW just need to send DHL both the outgoing and return airway bill and state that it is a return of goods. They will then be able to recoup all taxes and duties paid and refund you in full.

Re: The Black Bay 54

I just can't get passed the silver on the bezel Vs gold on the Hands markers etc. Sent from my TA-1012 using Tapatalk I thought that when I first saw the watch. But what I find in practice is that the silver numerals on the bezel match the steel of the case. My eyes don't see a clash with the dial ...

Re: Non CW of the Day

Inspired by the new release today I went with this for a change.
Every time I wear this I feel I should trade and it for something smaller.

Re: Anybody do any mods with their CWs?

As well as the watches linked to in this thread, I have a C6 Kingfisher Automatic with a white dial. That was done by swapping dials between a C6 white and a yellow C60 Kingfisher. https://i.imgur.com/hDUJV4A.jpg Clach77 i vaguely remember you doing a C600 tri tech mod as well with brushed case. An...

Re: “The Twelve” is live

Not a huge fan of integrated bracelets, after having a love hate relationship with the one on my Tutima before it gave up and lost a pusher and drowned itself. Butterfly clasps are the work of the devil look great but CW has never made one to fit my wrist. Taking that into account I still like this ...

Not really. It's the same for any country outside Europe. It's just the UK and Europe are still getting to grips with the new legislation and tariff codes and EORI numbers involved.

Re: F1 2022 / 2023 Motorsport Thread

Was surprised how far McLaren seem to have slipped down the order if it wasn't a technical issue they look to be on free fall again which is a shame. Equally Mercedes don't look to have made a step forward from last season unlike Austin and Williams. If someone can rain Max in it could be a good sea...

Not long now to the lights go out and the racing starts. Hopefully it will be a closer at the top of the table.

Re: Wearing a CW in london

I think you can wear most watchs anywhere as long as you are sensible and are not flashing it around drawing in wanted attention to it. Was in Jamaica a few years ago and a guy was haggling very loudly for a fake Rolex which he then binned out of sight of the venders and put his sub back on. After a...
