Re: C12 Loco — Honest Takes & Bespoke Possibilities

I wanted to come back and pine/gush some more about this beauty, I've watched and rewatched a bunch of the press releases and the doc of course, and the more I think about this watch objectively the more excited I am to own one of the first batch. I am a massive fan of mechanical wrist watches, I ha...

My humble SKX007j
@Seymour Narrows, British Columbia, to this day the site of the largest non-nuclear detonation in history, cool story, cooler watch.

Re: What Car do you drive??

My beloved 2007 Toyota Camry hybrid, only 90,000kms. IMO, the most reliable 4cyl, 4door, full size sedan ever made, from the golden age of 2000-2010 before over-complexity and computerization. I honestly wouldn't trade this car straight across for a 2025 Camry... MAYBE for a 2025 Supra or 4Runner, h...

Re: C12 Loco — Honest Takes & Bespoke Possibilities

Love it the way it is, indifferent to the name, have one on order already. Here's my take after seeing all 4 in the metal. I love the modern look, I love the traditional tech, I love how it's just looks like a wristwatch that loves to be a wristwatch and not in a proprietary snobby way. It's perfect...

Re: C12 Loco - A Revolution in Motion

I didn't take enough photos, but it was tough being shoulder to shoulder at the booth the whole time.

I ordered in black, I agonized between the white and black for 3 full days.

Re: What’s ahead in 2025?

I would LOVE to see some integrated leather straps with pronounced stitching for the 12s, maybe some crocodile too. Think Offshore. Anything sub-40mm in "vanta-black"! I saw a vantablack H.Moser&Cie in Vegas a few months back and it still haunts me. That 37mm moonphase would look unrea...

Re: C12 Loco - A Revolution in Motion

"Where did you get to see it?" - I actually had planned to attend the Vancouver Timepiece Show this past Saturday just to try on the 12s and hear the 'Canto. When this was announced a week before the show I wasn't even sure they'd have one there to see, never mind all 4 colourways. "P...

Re: C12 Loco - A Revolution in Motion

I was beyond excited to see this thing in person, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The way they've re-engineered the movement to bring the life-organs up to the dial side in a completely symmetrical layout is very appealing to me! This isn't a complication, nor is it an open-heart design,...

Re: Which LOCO colour would you pick?

New member here, I got the chance to see all 4 at the Vancouver Timepiece Show this past weekend and when Mike P. said he had "ring-fenced" a handful for the show I went Loco and pre-ordered one. This thing absolutely blew me away in person, and I had to have one of the first 750 to drop. ...
