Re: Strap Options - Repair or replace

Hello Phil - did you have any luck finding a replacement strap for your watch?

I have a similar problem with the strap on my C70 VW. I've fixed it with strong contact adhesive for now but I for the long term I'd like a new strap.

Very clever! I've searched eBay for a seller using that name but there's noting listed any more.

Thanks again.

Re: Custom Strap Maker Recommendation

Thanks Guy, unfortunately that link no longer works. I've done a quick search on eBay but can't find anything suitable.

Custom Strap Maker Recommendation

Can anyone recommend a UK custom strap maker please? I would like to replace the strap I have on my CV70VW4-V1 LE. I like the design of the original strap but it is well worn and I'd like to have a conventional buckle. So I suppose what I'm looking for is someone to replicate the original strap (inc...

Re: CW Watch Register? Any Interest?

...... A registry that would help provide more provenance on an individual watch would be great. ........ Provenance, I am afraid, is at the mercy of individuals as watches exchange hands after initial purchase. "Establish the provenance on an individual watch" - I think that's a worthwhi...

CW Watch Register? Any Interest?

I'm new to the Forum and CW watches; although from a standing start just a few weeks ago I now appear to have three! All pre-owned. Not quite sure how that happened 😁 I got to thinking about whether or not other owners might be interested in the previous history of their watches, or keeping track of...

Re: C65 Sellita SW200-1 Woes. Warranty Claim?

Thanks Guy - both my Sealanders have the Sellita SW200-1, so that's good to know. One has the Sellita SW200-1 COSC movement but I'm guessing the winding mechanism is the same.

Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: Wed May 14, 2025 10:57 am...........You're correct; both watches have the SW200-1 that requires 650 turns per day in either direction to keep them running sweetly. .........
Sorry to jump in on this one.

My winder 'box rotates the watch in just one direction. Is this an issue?

Re: Stay loyal to Watchmaker?

That scratch is typical of what can happen when the wrong tool is used to open a case back. Notice the anticlockwise direction from the slot outwards.

Re: Stay loyal to Watchmaker?

A needle-nose pliers to remove/replace a case back? Don't go back there. But you might want to think about finding a good watchmaker to check the condition of the waterproofing seal.

Re: NPD Sealander 2.0 Project

Apologises if some of this has already been covered but it's a very long thread and I may have missed something. Take the Elite & FLE 23 as a starting points 36mm case option for people like me with scrawny wrists. Black & white dial like the FLE 23 but black in the center and black outer ba...

I've only been on the Forum a few weeks but I'm getting the impression that customer service isn't very high on CW's priority list.
