Re: Non CW of the Day
Been a DSOTM week this week. Black Black today. Legibility is surprisingly good except the date can be a bit tricky.

@iain I can only repeat what others have said above - sorry to hear the sad news and hope you have as much time together as possible. Zeppelin in his bow tie is a wonderful picture.

Re: Design language, house styles, shifting sands....
People tend to take wrist shots too close to the camera and get a magnified effect due to the lenses. To get a true photo the camera should be held outside of the focus length and cropped in. For example the main lens on my iPhone 13 Pro is 1.5 feet if I remember. It varies by manufacturer so it pa...

I'm a huge fan of the designs of the Mr. Jones watches as well Drew. Heading to their stand in NYC in October I was ...

Re: Design language, house styles, shifting sands....

That's a lovely Trident and the colors aren't too far off the new models in places either. The pos...

Re: C65 Dune Aeolian - Shifting Sands
This is a big YES from me in terms of the updates CW have made. I must say that the previous iterations did not catch my eye at all; I would tend to just scroll on by. But the new wave pattern and color combinations are a real winner in my book. My personal preference is that, while I very much like...

Re: Omega Speedmaster under a microscope - Slow motion close-ups...
I learnt two things today:
1. An iPhone camera is not as good as thousands of pounds’ worth of photographic video equipment; and
2. Nevertheless it’s quite fascinating to use the zoom to look at the back of one’s watch.
