Re: Just received my C65 Cranwell Series 2!

It looks great -- I've had a C65 Dartmouth series 2 for several months now and I love it. I can see myself adding another from their military collection at some point.

Re: C65 Desk Diver

The photos I've seen look terrific. On the one hand, it' s not something I'm anxious to purchase for myself. On the other hand, if I were more of a collector, I might be very glad to have one. I think it succeeds where a lot of alternative/funky/humorous designs fail - a clever bit of design that ac...

None of the answers seems quite right. Which may be all for the best.

Re: CW v Rolex

As someone on the wait list for a Rolex sub, and having tried many alternatives, I wondered what people thought about the VFM of a CW v Rolex. This is the most modern of my CW watches and I love it. The question, Is not intended to spark debate, I just would like to know, via a vote, and taking VFM...

Re: In Defense of the Professional Tool Watch

DSC09508-Edit.jpg A brilliant and thought provoking article Rich @rkovars Thanks enormously for for taking the time to write it. I broadly agree with pretty much all of what you have written and offer a few suggestions / thoughts for Professional tool watches;- Marathon CSAR (Combined Search and Re...

Re: Divers certifications

So I take it I am the only one who cares if CW does a ISO certified dive watch or not? I almost bought the new compressor and I think if that had diver on the dial I would have that now. I also would have snapped up the new watch today (which I still might go for...) The 3 CWs I do have are top qua...

Re: How long does CWL usually take to ship/dispatch orders?

I don't know what's typical, but I placed my order for a Dartmouth II on June 27 (this year), received a confirming email the same day, and received my watch, in the U.S., July 3 -- one week later. I'd say that things were handled promptly in my case.

Re: Coming: the ultimate C60 Trident Pro 300

This is not the Ultimate C60 300. Mike France has been hinting heavily that there is a major release coming in August. It is thought, that this August release is the teased ultimate C60 300.*

If the GMT were what was teased the marketing would have Ultimate C60 all over it.
Got it, thanks.

Re: Swimming in c63 valour

I assume that 150m is suitable for swimming (not for diving to a depth of 150m) but if it's a watch that hasn't been serviced in a good many years it's worth checking the gaskets. I gather that's not an issue for the c63 valour.

NYC WATCHnerd -- I ordered it based on the pics and second-hand recommendations, but if it's of interest, the actual watch has exceeded my expectations

Re: Blue dial watch recommendations?

There are so many choices it's hard to know where to start. Omega has various models of Seamaster (including Aqua Terra) with blue dials that meet your criteria. Oris, as mentioned, although their prices have risen over the years. And I've really been enjoying my CW Dartmouth series II. DSC08513-Edi...

Re: Watch recommendations for son starting big school

Yes, I'd keep it simple and inexpensive, and I'd keep in mind what is likely obvious in many other contexts: (a) they can lose stuff and (b) if you feed them, they will grow: my son was a kid at 11 and 6' 1" by the time he went off to college (what in GB would be called "university") ...
