Re: NPD Sealander 2.0 Project
And I am a bit afraid to ask, but has there been any progress with the hardness coatings? Sometime ago I read/heard an interview where it was said that it affects finishing very unfavorably. I very much like the idea that not only the crystal is scratch resistant... Great idea! I love my anti-scrat...

1.) Keep 36mm, but offer additional size options 2.) Keep the male endlinks but please sharpen up the machining of the faux link and tighten up the tolerances. 3.) Refine the Bader bracelet to have steeper taper and beveled edges like the Trident Bader (perhaps taper down to 15mm at the clasp) 4.) S...

That's a cool resource that I didn't even know existed. Thank you sir!Bahnstormer_vRS wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 7:01 pm ^^^^ The minimum case size for an SH21 movement to be fitted is, to date, 40.5mm.
One may cross-check this in the Movements section of the CWArchive.

Re: New sports watch preview
Hahaha. I can't imagine them going any smaller than 38mm for a new model launch with a lot of development costs wrapped up in it. From what I've read, the smallest case they can potentially fit the SH21 movement into is a 38mm anyway, but who knows!

You might be on to something. The picture in the Loupe email does mysteriously look like a quartz crystal.
