Re: Millionth Forum Post
@Bix It's nice to see new people joining the forum and airing their voices. I think forums offer a very different experience to social media, certainly when they concern a targeted interest, in this case watches. I don't really use social media these days; must have dropped out of FB at least seven...

Re: Millionth Forum Post
To what extent does the manner in which you present yourself in the forum accurately reflect who you are in real life? Great question this, I’d like to think my online presence represents who I actually am in real life. I’ve never quite understood the curated online presence for personal accounts, ...

Re: Millionth Forum Post
It’s the longevity of discussions that help the forum as people can engage over time and respond as they like. This leads to more considered responses and a better depth of discussion. This is a really good point, so much of what’s online these days is algorithm or engagement based and some great i...

I’m off work this week, so I’ve got more spare time on my hands the usual and thought I’d try a more arty shot with my new citizen

Re: Millionth Forum Post
A million posts is quite the milestone especially considering the downturn of forums in general thanks to ‘social’ media and the many apps that exist nowadays! I used to be really active on other forums for hobbies that I’ve now given up and it was quite sad to watch those forums die out over time. ...

Re: AliExpress “Delugs” clasp and CTS rubber strap
They look interesting although I don't like the idea of permanently cutting a strap. I tend to prefer omega style deployant clasps where the excess is tucked underneath, and the adjustment is not permanent. They do have one micro adjustment hole on each side of the clasp so there is enough flexibil...

Re: AliExpress “Delugs” clasp and CTS rubber strap
Has anyone found straps which are just flat on both sides? So without any pattern underneath? The Denique straps are flat on both sides apart from the recessed lines where you cut the strap to adjust the length. I’m not aware of any that don’t have those lines as it would be too easy to cut it in t...

Re: AliExpress “Delugs” clasp and CTS rubber strap
Like @Timepiece.Pete I have quite a few of these from the Denique Store on Aliexpress and they are cracking quality for the money. Both the clasp and the rubber used on the straps is the best I’ve come across and by all accounts is identical to the Delugs equivalent.

Re: From zero CW’s to three within a month!
It’s fair to say I’ve got the CW bug, it started with my C63 Sealander GMT in 36mm which I’ve got a vintage oak leather and consort bracelet for and I love this little watch! IMG_3179.jpeg Then the sample sale came along, I was a bit under weather on the day so couldn’t attend which I was gutted ab...
