Re: Bader micro adjust clasp
Thanks for the info schiorean , that's really great to hear. After having that Strapco micro-adjust clasp be so uncomfortable, I was a little gun shy. OP I have the same wrist size as you do, 16.5cm. On my Sealander GMT I have the longer clasp, visually indeed I would like it to be shorter but comfo...

Re: 36mm with cosc sellita
The COSC movements seem like the way to go in my estimation (to each his own); however, being able to tweak a movement yourself (which I only just learned about from this forum) is an awesome opportunity to get the most out of the standard movement in those cases where the COSC is not an option, lik...

Re: 36mm with cosc sellita
I recently asked CW if I could get a COSC in a C65 Aquitaine and the reply was, "No, sorry." I believe that CW would be willing to swap a movement on an individual watch if the customer is willing to pay for the service. I also believe that CW has the expertise to perform this type of work.

Re: Bader micro adjust clasp
I hadn't even thought about the "folding Z section," but you're right about it being a big factor in the comfort. I wonder if they kept it because they figured shortening it might make it harder to get the watch on and off for some people. You're on the right track Neil @nbg and I have bra...

Bader micro adjust clasp
Hi All, I haven't seen much specifically on the micro adjusting clasp that comes on the Bader bracelet. Any images of the mechanism and the dimensions of the clasp itself would be much appreciated. The reason I am wondering is I had a Strapcode micro adjust clasp (not on a CW) that seemed to get goo...

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement
Thanks welshlad, that most definitely helps. We considered all sorts of different enhancements and features, including having a COSC SW200-1 movement, but all of these elements bring an additional cost. The extra cost for a COSC movement was not trivial and we wanted to make the watch as affordable ...

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement
Thanks iain. That definitely makes sense. Everyone will buy the FLE for different reasons but these are my own personal thoughts. Firstly this is a watch that needed to sell a certain amount of for it to be viable, if there wasn’t enough pre orders then there would be no FLE. I expect this led to so...

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement
Thanks! And, for the link as well. For the current, 2023, FLE a COSC rated movement was considered by the FLE Design Team, but to meet their objectives, as set out in the opening post of this thread, it was decided to run with a regular movement. If you would like to check the specifications of all ...

Re: FLE 2023 Launch Announcement
Sweet looking watch for sure. This may prove the exception to the "there are no stupid questions" claim. Why wouldn't the FLEs be COSC? Is it just that folks don't really care about it that much, given the price difference? It seems to me that a special edition would have the more accurate...

I love that dial. Do the Dune and Aquitaine have the same dial size, if anyone knows for sure?
