If you want to cut down your sugar intake, try sodastreaming vodka or gin😉

Re: Sky News: Selling stolen watches 'now more lucrative than drugs'

I didn't want this to spark a political discussion about how to solve the societal problem of watch theft, especially as such a discussion would be against the forum rules. I just wanted to raise awareness of the issue and also to highlight that the issue is now becoming something that is being clo...

Re: Sky News: Selling stolen watches 'now more lucrative than drugs'

Looking further down the food chain though, people do get mugged for their relatively modest watches, The subhuman excrement element of our lovely society are always on the lookout for ways to get rich without putting the effort in. It seems that the more misery they can cause along the way, the hap...

Re: Baltic MR01

The MR01 is a watch I really like. It is such an elegant piece, with an air of the traditional but not old fashioned. Salmon dial would be my choice too.

Re: New Steinhart Genta-esque release

I'd say it looks about right for the money and a nice PRX alternative. Movement could be 42 or 56 hour, but not COSC. I'm definitely not getting buyers remorse spending near double on the 12Ti  These two seem quite a long way apart in the detail department.

Watch_a_mod wrote: Tue May 23, 2023 6:25 pm @Chris GB Thanks. Highly appreciated. I'd seriously go with the PINK, then Yellow and Watermelon (cause i like it colorful) :)
Green, nighty green and Indian sunset could all be on my want list. I like the darker Ti case with these punchy colours.

Re: Settle an argument?

And here’s an article on the history of the Zenith Defy that dates them from 1969 “….the first A3642 looks like a progenitor of the kind of heavily faceted, industrial style that Gerald Genta would become the maestro of only a handful of years later. In fact, in many ways it was more daring than wh...

Re: CW has created a new car!

They've fixed it now, but wow, unbelievable. I must say, I tend to not read all the marketing bumph. I'm glad I don't, because reading something with such a banal mistake would really destroy the illusion of a passion for their subject that a brand has been trying to convey. Luckily, I'm a total mar...

Re: “The Twelve” is live

I've already 95% decided on a Titanium 12 which I'm hoping to buy in the next few weeks, crazy how the expected arrival changes... it was first early August (sigh) then it went to Early June (yippee!) now it's early November (NOOOO!) ahhh bummer! Something I've discovered about Christopher Ward, if...

Re: Which will be The Twelve’s next dial colours?

I’m very interested in the Titanium, but I ordered the Bel Canto in purple, and I already have three blue watches. I’d love to see a white option in titanium, with that same gradient dial fading dark at the edges. That didn't stop me  I'm not sure what method of colouring the dial is used here...
