Re: What’s your collection size?

The missus has 7 (or 8 if you count a reversible as 2). I have 7 plus one incoming.

Handy when the other half is into watches. On the downside, it doubles the cost. January the first: Her - no more spending on watches this year. January the third: Her - orders two watches

Re: C63 SH21 Blue Marine

I'm guessing these are the result of cancelled orders from the long delay in production. A great chance to buy a spectacular watch without a year long wait! Loving mine 8)

Re: Falling out of love

Well that was short lived excitement, watch only runs consistently if left off the wrist! which is pretty pointless for a wrist watch! Back to Christopher Ward it will go no doubt another three months while I wait for it to be fixed. Absolutely horrendous story cannot believe how this is unfolded. ...

Re: From your largest to your smallest....

I think we are detectors of change, so big contrasts, be it visually, or in weight, temperature, brightness, loudness, they all get our attention. Swapping from the relatively light 12Ti to the C63 Blue Marine yesterday, the BMF felt huge and heavy for a few minutes, even though it really isn't at a...

C63 SH21 Blue Marine

A couple of quick ones from the mobile phone camera, I will post something decent when I get a chance to dig some proper kit out. These photos don't do justice to the vibrancy of the dial, but are nearly colour correct.

Re: Falling out of love

So, the Blue Marine Foundation arrived today. Was it worth the wait? Yes. It is a lovely looking thing, both front and rear. CWs bracelet sizing seems a little "generous" (either that or I have lost wrist size over the year since the order was placed) so I am wearing it on the leather for ...

Re: Falling out of love

but i was gently roasting Mike France about it during a chat on Saturday and he said that delivery is imminent. Apparently, the delivery schedule was knocked off course by a delay in the manufacture of a single part, which was repeatedly assured for delivery, then not supplied. Maybe if they have a...

Re: Falling out of love

Sooo excited it being the middle of March as per last email from CW…. “ I am reaching out to update you on the delivery status of your C63 SH21 Blue Marine. I previously said you would receive it end-February but due to an ongoing delay relating to completing the COSC certification process, this is...

Re: I think I'm DONE with Sellita movements

My second CW, a Sealander 36mm came with an SW200-1 and it’s +15s/d on the wrist. It’s the first mechanical watch with which I have to be careful screwing down the crown since it tends to cross-thread. To prevent this, I think I have it now down to pressing firmly in before rotating. I have long ha...
