Re: New Omega Bond watch

Not my Omega of choice..... If I was a polite Canadian like Lance, then I would say the same. As I'm not a polite Canadian, I'll feel unencumbered in stating that I think it's grim. Omega are never going to top the Skyfall Aqua Terra as a Bond watch, so they may as well stop trying. I may be slight...

Re: CW on social media

^^^^^ I would be surprised if there was an across the board sale, given how much overall sales have apparently increased, following a couple of the new releases. IIRC 400% was mentioned in a post on the forum, following the Bristol GTG. Neil The 400% mentioned at the Bristol GTG was a spike in sale...

Re: Poor Service Provided by Christopher Ward

Russell, Congratulations on your first post, over 10 years after joining the forum! That must be some kind of record! :) I'm assuming that you haven't had your C6 serviced in the 10 years you've had it (I know it's quartz, not automatic, but they still need servicing occasionally), so it's probably ...

Re: CWL of the day

This new arrival around the house today. It was NN but it hasn't got a mark on it. I got it on the bracelet, but I've switched it to this Hirsch Robby to avoid resizing the bracelet until I'm 100% sure (I'm only 99.99% sure at the moment!). I'm so pleased with how the orange parts of the strap bring...

Re: Bezel Insert

If I were in your shoes, I think I would speak to CW about it and then send it back for them to realign. But expect it to take several weeks given their current timescales.

But you could try it yourself if you're willing to take the risk and have some appropriate tools.

Re: Bezel Insert

There isn't an official way to remove and realign a bezel insert. You would need to send it back to CW.

However, there are some unofficial ways of doing it, but there is risk of damage to the bezel. Is this a ceramic or aluminium bezel?

Re: FLE #8 Design Vote #2

^^^ Chaps, this isn't the right place to be discussing watches that you would rather buy than the FLE candidates. This thread is about trying to get enough votes for an FLE to proceed, not to give people reasons NOT to vote for an FLE. You were both advocates for a second poll and now you're potenti...
