Re: Thoughts about this nato combo?

I like it. And when it gets a little grubby, it will match the dial perfectly. :)

Re: New Bremont logo?

(Apologies in advance for the unpopular opinion.) A missed opportunity, really. A missed opportunity to rebrand the company altogether and ditch the Bremont brand that's been permanently tainted since the Wright Flyer debacle about 10 years ago. Re: New sealander no crown pop?

As long as it unscrews sufficiently so that you can wind the watch without the crown re-engaging with the tube threads, it's fine. Not all watches have the same pop or clearance from the tube. If you can wind it, it's fine.

Re: The Non-Curmudgeons Corner

Can I just add another quick reminder that this thread is specifically for mentioning things that make you happy, pleased, laugh, smile, etc. In other words, it is meant to be the complete opposite of the Curmudgeon's Corner, where we blow off steam about things that have annoyed us. It's not meant ...

Looks like brisk sales already, or were no watches in stock on launch day?

Re: Six Nations 2024

You get to see different skills when the play is not dominated by overwhelming physical power. I wouldn’t rate my chances of stopping Sisilia Tuipulotu even in my playing days. She’s a force of nature! Indeed, she is! But, at least for the time being, she's more the exception to the rule. M...

Re: Six Nations 2024

I watched some of the Wales v Scotland women's match yesterday. Scotland won by 2, but really they deserved more. If the Wales #10 had slotted that late conversion for a draw, it would have been unjust to Scotland. The Scottish #13, Orr, is an exceptional runner. Why the Welsh #9 kicked the ball out...
