Re: Advice on Twelve Purchase
Such a great looking watch!! Normally I like smaller sized watches. Both sizes look great on smaller as well as bigger wrists. Personally - 18cm/7 1/8"- I think I would go for the bigger watch. I do like date windows so that plays a role also. Love that icey blue that will probably the one for...

Re: noob problems, irl, c60?,blu/blk?, 2024
....can't decide between blue and black any suggestions? Buying without the "tactile experience" is always a bit tricky but I don't think you will be disappointed in the CW's "feel." I like blue which is a bit more playful but black is a bit more versatile. I actually prefer the...

Re: CW beaten by Seiko? Vote now to help
There's a decent amount of ripping on Christopher Ward for the logo and brand name alone. Among other frivolous reasons such as, "I would never spend real money on a CW". Keep in mind, I've noticed these types of watch articles and their comment sections tend to attract some of the faux-e...

Re: CW beaten by Seiko? Vote now to help
Well as a good CW fanboi I did my bit and voted for the CW. Not a massive fan of either but the CW shaded my vote. It actually looks nice on the wrist I think.

Re: Bel Canto Received and going back
I actually think it is kind of cute but I have no need for an hourly chime watch, what's it called, "rattrapante" I believe…… A rattrapante is a double chronograph. Like a normal chronograph but it has two seconds hands. You stop one and the other keeps going, then when you release the st...

Re: Buying my first CW and first mechanical watch
.....these days 38 hours doesn't cut it, sorry..... I always wonder what the current obsession with power reserve is all about. I see it everywhere on watch forums. Certainly for a daily wearer everything > 24h is already overkill to slap it on in the AM after having taken it off before bed. And if...

Re: Buying my first CW and first mechanical watch
For your wrist 38mm would be perfect but 40mm would be good too. IMHO of course. My wrists are a bit wider at 7 1/8" so 40mm would be my choice.
CW quality is great. I second getting a bracelet. CW bracelets are fab. Problem is ... what bracelet? CW seem to make 2 different kinds now LOL!

Re: Topic on CW on Microbrand Watch World
This is actually funny if you read it to yourself in a promo-like voice in your head. Well that it what happened to me anyway when I read it, it "sounded" like some sort of promotion for a trip to a tourist resort, a cure-all-for-all-ailments, or some sort of magical household appliance th...

Re: HOW MUCH!!?? (service shock)...
It's not just a service innit. It's not a running watch sent in for some fresh oil and a demagnesation. It's a broken watch sent in for repair. UKP 550 doesn't sound unreasonable A repair, in isolation, should always be cheaper than a service, as a watch service requires a full strip down of each a...

Re: HOW MUCH!!?? (service shock)...
"It was the chrono that wasn't running. " I got that. It's a broken watch. It needs fixing not just servicing. If I bring my car to the garage for an oil change and a tyre rotation I pay x. If I also need new ball joints and a hole in the exhaust welded I may have to pay 2 or 3x. You may n...

Re: Bel Canto Received and going back
I’ve never made a comment on this but I can’t be the only one who thinks this is hideous, these real life pics only conform this I actually think it is kind of cute but I have no need for an hourly chime watch, what's it called, "rattrapante" I believe, and I like a watch to be LEGIBLE! S...

Re: C60 Trident Pro 300 - Which Size and Colour?
I like the white dial best. I would pick the 40mm. My wrist is 18cm/7.125"
42mm is doable but I prefer a slightly smaller watch on any watch that is not a Speedy
