Re: C63 Sealander incoming

Does anyone have a suggestion for a decent inexpensive demagnetiser for occasional home use?

Re: CWL of the day

Last full day in Venice (blimey that week went quick)
Couple of observations about the Sealander gmt. Very comfortable, easy to wear, micro adjust is a must have. After 1 weeks wear, -2 seconds which is amazing, no winding or special treatment.

Re: CW website pics

I agree. I get most of my impressions of Christopher Ward’s offerings from watch review websites and YouTube reviews

Re: Why all the negativity towards CW?

see CWOTD thread today. I think this is referring to my post from yesterday where someone mistook my Sealander gmt for an Explorer 1. I looked online for some Explorer 1 images and whilst it is very different from the Sealander I can see how, from a distance, at a glance, one might be mistaken for ...

Re: CWL of the day

A lunchtime drink in Verona I was in a high end glass shop on Murano yesterday - browsing not buying - and the proprietor said ‘Explorer 1?’ When I had worked out what he meant I said ‘unfortunately not, Christopher Ward. A British brand, Swiss made’ and handed it to him. He looked it over and said ...

Martú strap just delivered

Martú straps seem to be a forum favourite alternative to the stock CW straps so I thought I would order one and see for myself. I ordered a Slim green vintage leather strap with no customisation to go with my Hunter Green Sealander and was excited to see a Chilean airmail envelope land on the doorma...

Re: C63 Sealander Hunter Green Logo

I was in a similar position to the OP, wanting the Hunter green Sealander and holding off for the logo change. In the end I decided to get it anyway and was very glad I didn’t wait. The dial is amazing, the distressing is very subtle and gives it an almost metallic appearance. I have since purchased...

Re: Can a screw down crown unscrew itself?

I had this happen a couple of times with my Sealander. I just assumed that I wasn’t tightening it sufficiently and now make sure to screw it down tight. Not had it happen since.
