Re: New Atoll Special Edition

Purely speculative without seeing the sales, so my impression is based from reading forum posts. While the watch reviewers have been mostly positive, the reaction of the forum community to the Aquitaine release has been mixed. I have read more posts explaining why the Aquitaine is not for them than ...

Re: New Atoll Special Edition

As soon as I glimpsed the new C60 Atoll LE, I knew this one is for me! The simple Aqua colored dial with the steel bracelet is stunning & makes for a perfect combination. I already own a C60 Sapphire, so I have a very good idea of how it should wear on my wrist. Initially I wasn't a huge fan of ...

Re: CW Marketing Emails - Time to Unsubscribe?

In the past, Christopher Ward contacted me to inquire as to which emails I would prefer receiving. They even provided some topics to pick from to ascertain my interest. Didn't seem like a company wishing to spam its customers with irrelevant emails to me. I voluntarily consented to remain on the lis...

Re: Where do you keep your daily watch?

I wear glasses but obviously don't wear those to bed. Rather than roll over & squint at the alarm clock on our nightstand, it is far easier for me to raise my wrist & simply read the time given by my watch. When I was younger, I didn't wake up much. As most of us age, you find yourself doing...

Re: Where do you keep your daily watch?

I have always worn a watch while sleeping with no discomfort. Maybe I am the only person that feels this way, but I do so for a very a practical reason. If I wake up during the night, I want to be able to tell the time without making the effort to check my alarm clock. One reason why I prefer Christ...

Re: C65 Auqitaine Automatic Marine Blue arrived

Those are the type of real world photos that I have been waiting to see!!! The different angles that you provided tell so much more about how the watch really looks! And, that color of blue is striking. Thanks!

Re: Who's got a C63 Sealander with Hunter green dial? How much do you likeylikey?

You really can't go wrong with the green or the black Sealanders in my opinion. I could see adding the black version to my collection at some point. The Sealander design is good enough to justify such a purchase.

Re: C65 Aquitaine GMT - Orca Black

Of the Aquitaine line, the newest Black Orca would be my favorite. What one person likes, may be exactly why someone else doesn’t. Personally, I kept feeling there was something missing with the automatic version. Then, it dawned on me that having numbers at the quarters on the bezel was the most li...

7406BF2D-0D22-4961-BA92-2DCBB40C9CB0.jpeg Among the CW’s that I own, my C63 Green Ombré Sealander really is my “go anywhere, do anything watch!” I think the green etched dial goes with a lot of things & wears so comfortably. I have a black C60 Trident that I really like but the Sealander sits o...

Re: CWL of the day

Got back a week ago from a family vacation to Estes Park, Colorado. Even for that altitude, 20” of snow is unusual for this late in the season. Fortunately the ground was warm enough that most of snow melted as it fell & did not accumulate. Of course, I had a couple of Christopher Ward watches ...

Re: CWL of the day

Not on the ground. It snowed for two days but never accumulated that much. We did find old snow in Rocky Mountain National Park at 9,400 elevation. I do understand what you are saying as my wife & I visited Glacier Park in Montana a few years ago. The Park looked so different than when I had bac...
