Re: C63 Snow Leopard or BMF or both and, if both why?
Love the way this is headed. Not in the market for any of them as I find them a tad big for my taste (i try to stay 40mm and under, and possibly 12.5mm thick tops), but I love that 5-day power reserve, the certification and the price is right. And I like the subtle signals that, even though value fo...

Re: C60 Lympstone Logo?
Once you get 5 posts and are able to see the sales corner, I believe there is a Lympstone currently listed for sale at a good price. If the logo is putting you on the fence maybe a good price will tip the scales. Yep, it's mine and it's still available :) (although someone recently DM'd me about it...

Re: Bracelet Latch is too big?
With a couple of half links (cant remember if my C63 36mm has any), we theoretically wouldnt need that many levels of micro adjustments, and therefore could have a shorter clasp. On wrists of 6"5 and less, that clasp pretty much fills the entire underside of the wrist and doesnt curve as nicely...

Re: Wearing a CW in london
As a Londoner who walks a lot CW is the last of any worry (if any) when wearing a watch. I dont even think twice wearing my GS of Tudor. Im not saying there arent problems, but I've never felt unsafe about wearing a watch in the city. I must be lucky.

Re: Omega Spirate system, new Speedmaster Super Racing
Wait, does that mean they ship it to you way outside the best tolerance, then you've gotta source an official Omega service center for that dude with that key to 'fine tune' it? Or does it wear out over time anyway then you have to adjust it? Key thing here (no pun intended), you've gotta go to Omeg...

Re: C65 Dune
Amazing applied logo, and the blue on bracelet is very nice, so is that blue version of the bronze COSC. Unfortunately, and I know Im in the minority on this, I just wished there were another movement in it. Perhaps I've grown to appreciate other things in watches than just design and strict value f...

Re: The problems with R in 10 minutes
I'm conflicted about this. I inherited a DJ, never wore it and probably never will but because of its origin I'll also never sell it. I am thinking, however, to go get one of the watches I always wanted now that the timing is right - a Rolex Explorer 1. Had other priorities when the interest began, ...

Re: Tudor Black Bay Pro
Trying it on might be a good first step, but I have a sneaky suspicion it also needs the test of time to make up ones mind. The word on online reviews/content about the thickness makes it that, when you try it on, it indeed wears a lot smaller than what you would have thought. I tried it on and felt...

Re: What watch have you worn most during 2022?
Hands down, Grand Seiko SBGE253.
2023 may see some change, the blue BB58 is gaining serious traction on my wrist at the moment and if I finally get that AD call for the Pelagos 39 then it's almost a done deal.

Re: SH21.2
Go the Calibre 400 way or Tudor's latest MTs (PW and pinpoint accuracy) and I'm good. They need their 40-and-under watches to offer more than Sellitas.
Cant wait for more info.

Re: A Technical Perspective The Difference Between Office GMT And Traveller’s GMT Watches
I struggle to see the practical difference to be honest. Is it just a change in the operating mechanism, or is there a real difference for the user (other than maybe having to reset the time precisely) Practical difference is basically what the GMT hand means to you, and in my case, it works hand i...

Re: The "what watch are you day dreaming about now" thread
There's a few on Ebay at close to retail price Regards Steve Not a fan of risking smth like this on Ebay (even though, I know, there are a bunch of buyers safety and money guarantees). Plus, I know it's odd, but I like that moment when you get the call and get the excitement of the pickup. Well, fo...
