Re: Clearance watches
I'm surprised to see two Trident Pro 300s sitting unclaimed in the clearance section

Re: Anyone ever had QC issues with Christopher ward or any other brand?
Three CW watches, two had issues unfortunately. My Worldglow had lint under the crystal, and my Aquitaine had a misaligned bezel. No QC issues with my Atoll, but I'm not enjoying screwing down the crown. It's notchy, but I've found if I slowly apply pressure and turn the crown in reverse, it does se...

Re: Misaligned bezels on CW divers
My recently purchased Aquitaine had a misaligned bezel. Seems very common on CW watches for some reason. I don't get why since QC should catch it, and it should be very easy to correct.

Re: 2 straps but no watch
I wonder if they are shipping you the green Aquitaine I just returned. They just received it yesterday. Maybe they are planning to send you that one after they inspect it and that's the reason for the split order?

Re: CWL of the day
I really enjoy this tide strap pairing. Still odd to me that CW didn't sell this combination.

Re: Tide straps
It’s not so much that it becomes soft though. It’s about molding to the curve of your wrist. This has been my experience as well. It doesn't really ever feel soft, but it gets to the point where it is very comfortable to the point that you forget you are wearing a watch. As another poster stated to...

Re: Graphite arrival
I think this is the common way it's done on dials and fixed bezels. Note how 8-16 is presented on the Explorer II https://www.leonardojewelers.com/upload/rolex/product/m226570-0001_modelpage_front_facing_landscape.png Probably (one of the many reasons) why I don't own one of them. Interestingly eno...

Re: Graphite arrival
There are a couple of niggles; the 24hour values 16-20 are "incorrect" in that they are not read from the centre like the other numerals and the bezel numbers but rather "right way up". I am not a fan of inconsistentcies like this. This is my first CW, but I suspect not my last....

Re: I think I'm DONE with Sellita movements
The crown on my Atoll also feels slightly rough when trying to screw the crown back in, it sometimes takes a few goes to get the thread started but tightens up ok once it has properly engaged. On my two Sealander GMTs the crowns feel really smooth and screw back in without any hesitation. The Atoll...

Re: I think I'm DONE with Sellita movements
Not to be argumentative but the crown screwing in has 0 to do with the movement. The threading etc is part of the case/crown. I would say you just don't like how CW is doing it. That is fine and you are entitled to your opinion. I don't have any of those issues on any of my CWs with the screw down ...

I think I'm DONE with Sellita movements
Oh-For-Three in my last three watches with Sellita SW200 movements. Two have been returned, including the Aquitaine I just received yesterday. A third (Atoll) is still with me but eventually will be sent in for repair. All three had crown issues, specifically problems when attempting to screw down t...

Re: Sale Live
So you opted for a return rather than a repair huh? On my Aquitaine the bezel alignment is off a small bit. the 12 sits between clicks if that makes sense. The crown is a little stiff too. So I guess I may have a repair in my future (or return if I go that route instead). Honestly, I didn't want th...

Re: Sale Live
Early morning tap at the door, but both of my orders just arrived! I wouldn't mind being woken up for that  Two black GMT divers, different as they are - are you planning to keep both? To finally answer this  The aquatine lost about 30 seconds over the course of 3 hours, so that went ...
