Re: Blue dial watch recommendations?

I’ve been very pleased with my titanium watch from Axia Time.

Re: CW Revival potential

I wasn’t around the brand during the Kingfisher era. While among my watches I have some early CW models, this one doesn’t really draw me in. I’d reserve judgment until I see the result but my initial reaction is I’m happy with the newer styles of C60 Tridents I already have.

Re: Bespoke 39mm C63 GMT mulberry dial project

I don’t think this one is billed as a Limited Edition. CW could offer a general release with perhaps a different color GMT accent which would keep this specific colorway unique. Probably a question better asked of the project instigator.

Re: C60 quartz developed a 4 second sweep

I, too, had a quartz watch which utterly failed after a battery replacement. The previous battery had leaked some and I hadn’t seen it and the corrosion residue shorted the new battery.

Looks like fun for those who attend. It’s great to see CW engaging with us in this way.

Good find! The CWEC appeals as it doesn’t scream but is a subtly different style.

Re: The Twelve Power Reserve

I have a SW-200 powered watch that needed about two weeks of wear and handwound power to get up to its 38 hour reserve regularly. That was over three years ago and it has performed to spec as expected since then.

Re: Aurora alert for 10-12 May 2024

While I recognize the site is America-centric, I get my info here:
https://spaceweather.com/
There are options to switch the focus from North America to Europe and elsewhere for solar storms and other data.

Re: Aurora alert for 10-12 May 2024

There was another solar flare around 15:30 UTC though it was not nearly as strong as the aggregate of the four CMEs yesterday. Still it should boost the number of charged particles in the atmosphere tonight. Hope you see something. Clouds are already moving in for me, just like yesterday. I saw none...
