Re: Watch Collection

I thought I was done. But bought an additional watch box instead.

Re: The Lume Shot of the Day

Ready for some travel. Really like the ‘pipette’ hands on this one.

Re: In search of a dress watch

More knowledgeable folk than me have got it covered with a range of options there and while CW wasn't on the list I was perusing the second hand CW market this morning as it happens and spotted a C5 Malvern 595 on the Ward Hoard website at £795. 39mm and quite slim (although not owned one myself). T...

Re: CWL of the day

Fine morning here and briefly wondered if I should go a bit brighter than black dial, but this C60 won out.

Re: WristTrack - Stif's mobile watchbox app project - Now live on iOS and Android!

I’ve just heard about this app on another thread (long time collector, late comer to the CW Forum game). Downloaded, added watches and images and I can already see myself getting obsessed over it…

Thanks!

Re: CWL of the day

Rushed departure for a weekend away and left with just the watch I was wearing yesterday [emoji51] At least it is suited to the location!

Re: Divers in the context of your collection?

My three divers make up 25% of the watches that get regular wear. I’m a keen user of Stif’s excellent WristTrack app and the data tells me that the divers have seen 23% of my wrist time this year, so I seem to have got the proportions just about right. I hadn’t heard of this app ...

Re: Divers in the context of your collection?

Ha! Thanks both. I’ll go for a decisive four or five in that case! C60 Anthropocene GMT is one of them, but I’m keen to avoid that rabbit hole!!

Re: Divers in the context of your collection?

@PGR101 Wouldn’t that count put you in the 26-50% bracket? That’s empty at the moment. Voted again, and correctly this time… In my mind the two C60s and C65 Super Compressor are the dive watches in my collection. As noted, Omega didn’t initially occur and I think of that and the C65 Trident Diver B...

Re: New Sealander Colours

Have been thinking about getting a 20mm blue canvas strap and pretty sure I saw one a couple of weeks ago on the website but it seems CW have now dropped the green and blue canvas options. Brown is still available. Blue canvas available only on a bronze buckle (for the Dune bronze/blue). Guessing re...

Re: Divers in the context of your collection?

My dive watches are four CWs and an Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra (that oddly I don’t think of as a dive watch and forgot to count when I voted!) out of 14 watches.

Next stat is how many of those dive watches are owned by divers… I’ll admit I’m not a diver and don’t even shower with a watch on!
