Re: Heading out to the DC Watch Show
Where is the post from the CW rep Mike about the show? He posted a thread with great pictures even from inside the White House. Where did the thread go?

Re: BumbleBeasts with broken wings. Incident Analysis, and attempt to find Root Cause.
As posted on FB — BumbleBeast/QC update 3 (or whatever it is now). Mr France himself also emailed me. Not going to post his email here but as with the initial response from the CS rep, he is appreciative of being made aware of potential issues, and advised they take the process very seriously and vo...

Re: BumbleBeasts with broken wings. Incident Analysis, and attempt to find Root Cause.
CW replied. I’m pleased with their response and I believe that they want to address the concerns that have come up from me and others. Nobody is perfect. It is what you do when opportunities arise for improvement that defines you, in my view. “Dear Jacob, Thank you for your proactive approach in sha...

Re: BumbleBeasts with broken wings. Incident Analysis, and attempt to find Root Cause.
Yeah I didn’t want to wait 8-10 weeks to get a watch I had just ordered. And the analysis may well be totally wrong, but based on the data available to me here that’s my best guess. As I said, it’s just an example. We could go down the DHL or RM direction for packaging shipping issues. There are man...

Re: BumbleBeasts with broken wings. Incident Analysis, and attempt to find Root Cause.
Yes, shipping damage could be a cause, but I’m thinking it’s unlikely due to this not being an isolated incident, and in a very short timeframe. The trend of three identical watches arriving to three different locations with the same issues points more toward QC than shipping damage, but of course i...

BumbleBeasts with broken wings. Incident Analysis, and attempt to find Root Cause.
This post is not intended as being negative toward CW – quite the contrary. I love the brand, the watches, and especially the ownership community. I would like to in some small way help get to the bottom of the issue that may be occurring so that CW can potentially improve, and thereby ensure happie...

Re: CW Regrets
Yes, there are a few. I sold more than a dozen CWs between Jan 2021 and Jan 2022, in anticipation of “The Call” from a Rolex AD. Several tremendous models among them, but one I do wish I had kept a hold of was the C60 MK2.5 316L LE Yellow. There’s one on eBay now, and a CWE member also has one he mi...

Re: CW not refunding duties on watch that arrived faulty and was returned
Here is DHL’s final response to the email I sent before the refund came from CW: “Hello, Please be advised in order to receive a refund on the duties paid on a shipment you are now returning, you will need to contact a US Customs broker (online) and file what is called a Duty Drawback with them. DHL...

Re: CW not refunding duties on watch that arrived faulty and was returned
They’re still talking about DHL and the duty process It seems to me that whilst you are a customer of CW, CW are the customer of DHL and it is they who should be sorting out any issues - as they have a contract with DHL and not you. By coincidence I've recently had and issue with DHL losing a case ...

Re: CW not refunding duties on watch that arrived faulty and was returned
Right - if I didn’t like it, fair play. But alas, not the case here. Now it’s resolved… but only after I copied in the CEO… The refund for the duty should be processed within 5 days. They’re still talking about DHL and the duty process so it seems they’re not really grasping how this should work. I ...
