Quick release C65 bracelet (compatibility)

I’m bidding on an earlier C65 (green dial/manual wind) but have a C65 GMT and C65 Automatic (black dial if it matters). The one I’m bidding on doesn’t come with a bracelet, but am hoping/assuming that the quick release I got with my C65 GMT (which also works fine on the automatic) will work fine? I’...

Re: My Rolex Polar Explorer II - CW version

I've always liked the Rolex Polar Explorer II, but didn't have $8K to drop on one. I did, however, have a white dial CW C60 and just picked up a C60 Limited Edition with the Stainless Steel bezel (I tried to get some small scratches out, but my Scotch Brite pad did a little more harm than good, ope...

Re: New C60 bracelet (MK3) work with older C60's?

Sorry NO it will not. That is; the C60 Trident Mk3 bracelet will only fit the C60 Trident Mk3 and beware you get the correct lug width and case size i.e. 22mm/42mm, 20mm/40mm or 20mm/38mm. The bracelet for the C60 Trident mk2 will, subject to lug width, retro fit back onto the C60 Trident MkI, C6 K...

New C60 bracelet (MK3) work with older C60's?

Hey all, sure that has been discussed but after some searching couldn't really find an answer. Before I plop down nearly $200, figured I'd ask. I've got about 3 C60's but two of them came with the older bracelet (w/out the quick release). I like to change my bracelets/straps around and figured if I ...

Re: DIY Movement swap?

I just took it to a watchmaker (same place I got my wedding ring). He did the swap in a few minutes. Here's the final product. Love the look of the bronze/black. The other one...is a bit unique in its own way.

Re: DIY Movement swap?

Here's a picture of the watch with the back off. I have two questions: 1. (this corresponds to the #1 in the picture). There are two of these screws, the other is on the other side. Do I need to remove these to get the movement out? 2. Is this the button I need to push on to remove the stem? I've do...

Re: DIY Movement swap?

I am going to attempt this. I got the back case off both watches (the movements are identical) but I couldn’t figure out how to get the stem/crown out? I didn’t want to force anything so I just figured I’d post here and see if there were links to a video that showed it. Do I need to take the two scr...

Re: CW Return Policy

Ok, well that's too much of a hassle for me (and I'm also impatient) so looks like it's eBay.

Re: CW Return Policy

I purchased it with the strap, but added on the bracelet. I'm not sure how they would view it. The strap I've actually got on another watch, so it would not qualify as "new" - whereas I feel the bracelet would. This was a few weeks ago when they were having the 15% off sale and there wasn'...

CW Return Policy

Hi all, I recently purchased a CW GMT Trident (the "Pepsi" bezel one). I'm still in the 60 day return policy, but I was wondering how strict they are? I'm in the USA, so it's kind of a P.I.T.A. to send it overseas back to CW. I don't know how strictly they look at the watch (it's only been...

Re: Finally got the bracelet off!

I've been looking for videos on YouTube and have found some, but none that really say "OK, here's how you do it." Many of them just show the watch, then just cut to the bracelet coming off and saying "Ok, now that that's done, we can move on." I just take it to a jeweler in my lo...

DIY Movement swap?

Hello all, very new here (as evidenced by my post count). Had a question that I'm sure is possible, but figured before I spun my wheels too much, I'm sure someone here has the answer. I've got the C60 Trident Pro 600 with the bronze case. I do like the bronze case, but I feel that a more traditional...

White dial/black bezel Trident?

Hello all, new here and after a search, couldn't find the answer I was looking for. Figured someone here has to to know. Ordered a CW GMT (Pepsi) and was looking for a strap for it. Came across this page: https://www.christopherward.com/straps/vintage-oak-leather-strap/22-VOAK-01-SXC-DC-ST.html The ...
