Strap update for C65 Bronze Ombré

I thought I would get around to posting some pictures of my new C65 Trident Bronze Ombré LE for everyone's viewing pleasure, after asking for recommendations on watch straps here recently. As CW were unable to ship the watch to me on the distressed leather strap (out of stock), they kindly offered t...

Someone on this forum recently mentioned Farer watches for their pilot range, so I checked out their site and was very tempted by the new 'Morgan' pilot automatic, unfortunately I had to stop myself, as I had only just spent £850 on a C65 Ombré

Re: Help finding particular watch strap

The canvas strap looks great, I'm a little hesitant about the price though! Unless there is a certain build quality to it that justifies the price. In my experience fabric straps can fray, though looking at your picture there it does look very durable, and comfortable!

Re: CWL of the day

I’ve got it! I have always liked the C65 Ombré, but not found a strap I really liked with it. I tried the distressed CWL strap, but that’s two now that haven’t stood up to wear. So I’ve just tried my black canvas strap. And I think it works. https://i.imgur.com/0FWhle7.jpg Thinking of getting the b...

Re: Help finding particular watch strap

Hello everyone, Below you will see two of the straps I have seen on other forums which I think particularly suit the vintage look of the watch that I'm looking to try and find to purchase, ideally leather of high quality which is quite long lasting. Any help in finding something similar would be ap...

Re: C60 Blue Limited Edition

I find the lack of an exhibition caseback puzzling, since the C60 Sapphire has it, which very much had the aesthetic of looking into the deep blue ocean, then here with this LE specifically relating to the ocean and partnering with BLUE, they have removed that detail. :? However, it is definitely a ...

Really like the watch strap combination in the first picture!
Me too! I think it really gives that vintage 'explorer' look that I'm looking for in this watch.

Help finding particular watch strap

Hello everyone, I have recently purchased the C65 Trident Bronze Ombré (my first CW) and I have been looking for a more suitable strap to wear with it over the vintage oak strap that it came with, as I find the 'distressed' look seems a little bit too forced rather than a subtle vintage style to com...

Re: Question about limited editions

I have one, it's fantastic. I love it. Would you be able to tell me how durable the bezel and bronze is? I know the case is bronze, but with the bezel being what is described as anodised aluminium I am a bit worried about scratching it, as I am looking to get a new 'everyday' watch that I can wear ...

Re: Question about limited editions

I am excited to see the unique patina developing over time, I like the 'rustic' worn look personally. Good to know you're enjoying yours 👍🏼

Re: Question about limited editions

Thank you for your reply, it had puzzled me. Looking forward to ordering my first CW watch, and exciting to know that only a small few in the world will share the same watch making it unique.

Question about limited editions

I am interested in purchasing the C65 Trident Bronze Ombré COSC Limited Edition seen here - https://www.christopherward.com/retro-dive/c65-trident-bronze-ombr%C3%A9-cosc-limited-edition/C65-41ADA1-B0KK1-VK.html It says that it is available for pre order for early November, but I have since realised ...
