Re: EBay Authenticity Guarantee
Thanks. I've downloaded it to listen later. Something like that, which removed all the doubt would be great for both buyers and sellers.

Re: Brexit - VAT Charges on purchases imported into the UK
Of course nothing to stop a simple extension to fix this, such as any (provable) SH item could be exempt or if bought new before 1st Jan 2021 could be exempt from further VAT since EU VAT was paid....etc Nah, fat chance.... Nice idea, and nobody would avoid duty by misrepresenting a sale, would the...

Re: Non CW of the Day
My Dreyfuss today. (Rotary's big brother). I have been timing some watches over the last couple of days, and this is one of the best I have. It's gained 1 second in 2 days. Can't hold it steady enough on my wrist, so I took the picture in my light box.

Re: Producer Michael Entry Level Watches
Assume this guy, never seen him before in my youtube travels so can't say his opinion is valid  You saved me posting the link. He's a British record producer. He does youtubes of the houses, cars, watches, of the LA scene. Over 1m followers of his channel. Gave away an insane package the other...

Producer Michael Entry Level Watches
Producer Michael has a new video out today showing us some entry level watches. You know,
Oris 65, Rado Captain Cook, Omega Seamaster, Tudor Black Bay, 2 older Rolexes. Etc. Interesting view of "entry level". I can't post a link on my phone, but will do when I can.

Re: Zenith Chronomaster Sport
Actually, thinking seriously about this one, makes me like the one it replaced. My only issue with the original was that the movement probably needed a new version. I think the speedmaster received more updates over its life than the El Primero, but I'm not 100% sure on that. On a slightly different...

Personally I think pretty well anything at half price is worth considering.

Re: Brexit - additional duty to pay (UK to EU shipping)
It's not watch related, but I've just been browsing an outdoor equipment / military surplus website based in Finland and I've noticed that they have reduced all their prices by what I assume is their VAT equivalent. Still a pain dealing with import duty but at least it means only paying the tax onc...

Re: Loose pin on a CW bracelet
It would be very handy if all bracelet manufacturers supplied extra pins (and collars if applicable) with any bracelet/watch purchased. Hardly any cost at all, surely, and such a benefit to the recipient. CW, and other manufacturers should also have spare links for sale, should a bracelet not be lon...

EBay Authenticity Guarantee
There was a you tube video this morning by The Urban Gentry showing the ebay US Authenticity Guarantee. He had bought a datejust under the scheme. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsauWIVV7UY I wondered if anyone had seen this, and had an idea whether it was coming to the UK. Apparently eBay independ...

Re: Next stop after Trident?
Personally my favourite would be the C60 blue on blue ceramic bezel. If I wanted a diver of that sort, then I would be perfectly happy with this CW, and I doubt I would see it as a step piece to anything. I like the Oris Aquis, and RW Freelancer, as midrange divers, but I can't see them being worth ...
